We used this solicitor company for buying our first home. We have been in the house for a week and have yet to hear from Mcewan Fraser to notify us of when to get keys next steps. Luckily we had contact with the seller. There was numerous miscommunication around our move in date that I was only aware of due to the seller being so upfront. I would never recommend this company and will be making a complaint. Buying your first home is stressful enough without people you out faith in not doing what you have paid them to do!!!

We bought our current house with McEwan Fraser back in 2013. When we went to put in an offer on a house through them and have our own house valued they never contacted back. Now that we've had an offer accepted and sold our house via different solicitors we've discovered relevant documents weren't passed along which we need to sell our current house. We had a very positive experience selling our property with McEwan Fraser, would highly recommend. Lewis and the rest of the team that we dealt with were very friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. Being able to contact them out with ‘usual’ working hours was a lifesaver as it put our minds at ease whenever we had any questions and it meant we could get viewers in for viewings quickly. I was very pleased with the service I received from the McEwan Fraser Legal estate agents team who dealt with both the sale of my house and the purchase of my new property. Lenka Votypkova in particular was very efficient and was extremely helpful in explaining the whole process. This is the first time I have sold a house and thought I was going to have to deal with a lot of stress, how wrong I was. I met with Kay Anderson to discuss the selling of my property and from then on it was plain sailing. Haley MacKay was my main contact throughout the process and the service she provided me with was first-class. She kept me up-to-date with everything going on and was very supportive. I Spoke to two local estate agents before speaking to Graeme from McEwan Fraser Legal. He impressed me with his professionalism, explained the process clearly, gave me a printed copy of the charges pointing out options. His enthusiasm and professionalism along with my own gut instinct helped me to decide there and then to use (MFL). Peter was assigned to us as the personal administrator. His contact with us was excellent as was any other member of staff who contacted us. They were very proactive. Within 12 hours of going live we had three viewers in the first day, a total of 8 viewers in 5 days and the house was sold within a week. The online notice board was easy to use and updated instantly. Not the cheapest estate agent but I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

I can't praise McEwan Fraser enough on their level of service. Right from the beginning when we met Graeme our valuer, through to the design of our schedule with Catherine, Liz and Victor, and then with Omar who dealt with the actual sale of our property I felt I was in good hands with an extremely competent and professional Estate Agent. When we were dealing with viewings and offers Omar was always at the end of the telephone and always replied to my emails within the hour. He was very professional and efficient and sold our flat for us in 2 weeks at an amazing price! I felt totally at ease through the whole process as I knew my flat sale was in good hands.
