I couldn’t recommend McEwan Fraser Legal highly enough. From start to finish, the team have been incredibly attentive, professional and helpful, making the whole process feel straightforward and well managed. A special mention has to go to the Property Department, particularly Vikki and Laura Jane. They genuinely went above and beyond throughout the process, keeping me regularly updated every step of the way, from viewings through to feedback. Their communication, professionalism and attention to detail were exceptional, and it was reassuring to know I was always kept in the loop. I’d also like to give a special mention to Zoe and Kelsey for all their help getting us set up on the market, including keeping us updated with the home report and any necessary updates. They were both incredibly helpful and made the process of getting everything ready feel seamless. Amanda was kind enough to arrange a viewing for our property when I couldn’t. She went out of her way to make time to show a buyer around. Outstanding customer service! Finally, a huge thank you to James for providing excellent advice and support when speaking with our sellers’ solicitors. His knowledge, professionalism and willingness to help were greatly appreciated and made a potentially stressful part of the process much easier. It’s clear that the whole team genuinely care about providing a great service, and their dedication made a real difference to our experience.

A great first meeting with Jayne Smith. Jayne came to our home in Monifieth to do an initial review of the property and also help us with some details we weren't sure of with this being our first time selling. Jayne was very knowledgeable and easy to chat to which helped my wife and I greatly. Jayne was also very respectful and professional while in our property but relaxed enough to make us feel at ease. My previous agents were quick to list my property and made many promises but delivered nothing. No follow-ups , no accountability and no communication after a month. I was both stressed and frustrated as I needed a quick sale due to other financial commitments. To the rescue came Nari. He followed up to see how I was going even though he wasn’t my agent. I shared my situation. He offered his help and gave me options to suit my circumstances . I accepted. The result- sale within days to a private buyer, use of the buyers premium package to lower my costs, no marketing fees, legals deducted from sale price- everything organised for me. He was committed to get my sale through as quickly as possible and readily available for support ( I am an investor based in Australia) . The paperwork was quick and efficient. I can’t recommend Nari highly enough. Very grateful he found me. Will be using him again.

I have just signed up to sell my flat in Glasgow City Centre with McEwan Fraser & Legal. I compared 3 different agents but was particularly impressed with Jonny from this company. He has sold a few flats in this building and came across very enthusiastic and motivated. From our initial online enquiry, James Milne was so quick in responding and helped us understand exactly what we needed and what they could offer us (on a Sunday evening as well!). We were passed to Alex and Finlay to take care of the offer for us, and the initial offer was in by 9:30am on the Monday morning. Fin especially was quick to answer any questions we had throughout this process and while we were going through our mortgage application in the following weeks. The mortgage application was delayed for us, so we assumed our original move in date would no longer be possible, but then Kenny Watts went above and beyond to make it happen for us in the really tight time frame. Kenny was amazing, updated us often, even drove out to our home with the documents to sign, and got everything over the line without stress. As first time buyers, we had no idea where to start or what to expect, but the whole team have been amazing, so thank you all.

I didn't have a great experience at all with McEwan Fraser, and reading all the other reviews here, I can't say if it's because I was selling my flat in an area outside of Edinburgh, or was just plain old bad luck. Whilst the start of the process - when they were getting my business - was very smooth and professional, unfortunately the follow through was poor. There were multiple phone appointments being missed when I was trying to get updates, zero contact from the local agent I was assigned to and generally a lack of proactiveness at all in helping selling the property. The fact that when I said I was thinking of putting them on notice, no one asked me why or tried to understand how they could retain me, makes it pretty clear that they weren't particularly bothered about me or my sale.
