I sold my house via this agent, in Tornagrain. Craig Peters was excellent at his job. He listened, he helped when things were getting sticky durign the sale when it was not his job to do so anymore, once things had been passed on to Legal. When I was losing hope about the process, he took time to visit me, just to put my mind at rest and listen to my concerns. I have my concerns with the all in one process - Estate Agency and Legal together - but with Craig supporting me the whole way, it was all smooth sailing. Thank you Craig, thank you Ben (though it was a bad time to go on paternity leave ;-) I think the service is more expensive than alternatives, but worth every penny to me.

Sold our house in November 2023 Jay Stein the Area sales manager was great, really put our minds at ease when putting our property on the market and advising us at what price to market it at the maximise viewings. Our first house purchase was with a bank appointed solicitor and it was the worst experience of my entire life trying to deal with them so I was nervous about dealing with solicitors again, but Lewis Dobbie has been excellent. Having someone at the other end of a phone and keeping us up to date regularly and giving us good advice through the process was all we needed and Lewis delivered on all accounts!! The purchase was completed very quickly with literally no stress at all. It was such a chill process I couldn't believe it, and their pricing is very good for the quality of service. Peter Reid the area sales manager took our house to market and was polite, prompt, honest and gave excellent advice from the start, he also called us personally when a great offer was received. Claire Ironside was our sales and marketing consultant always on hand and very professional when needed. My initial enquiry was handled by Finlay Smith, who provided a comprehensive overview of the purchasing process and promptly addressed all of my questions and concerns. As I was based abroad during my property search, Finlay introduced me to James Milne, who serves as a Buyer Agent. Although I initially declined this service due to budget constraints, both Finlay and James offered to speak with me further and clearly outlined the value of the support provided. After our conversation, I was confident that this would be a worthwhile investment, and it absolutely was. James Milne’s contribution was instrumental in guiding me through the Edinburgh property market. He offered insightful advice on suitable areas and provided detailed assessments of properties I was interested in. For each property, he reviewed the home report, evaluated the overall condition and value, and then arranged viewings which he attended on my behalf. Through video calls, I was able to participate in viewings remotely, which made the process feel personal and efficient despite the distance. His deep knowledge of the market, strategic guidance on offer pricing, and unwavering availability for questions gave me great confidence in the property I ultimately chose. I used McEwan Fraser Legal, to sell my home and also do an onwards purchase, they provided a high level of service in general from day one and we got over HR value which we where very happy with. Special mention for Dara Jochemko who negotiated my onwards purchase I remember I told her it was important we got it and she didn’t let me down ☺️. Also Barry Haq my assigned solicitor who was amazing, selling and buying is a lot of paperwork and is stressful but Barry ensured everything was moving along nicely from all ends and making me aware of what I needed to do at all stages. Having only bought a new build prior all the process’/ paperwork were new to me & I needed someone that I could trust has all in hand, and that could explain anything in normal non solicitor terms, and I could count on Barry for that. I have been using McEwan Fraser for the selling of my property and onward purchasing. I especially want to thank Shauny Davis and Barry Haq for having the absolute perfect balance between professionalism and approachability. Both were always prompt at answering phonecalls and email enquires. Everything was always explained in an easy to understand way and I was never made to feel silly for any questions that I had.
