Left the property and had it professionally cleaned. Still waiting for deposit to be returned. They do not answer the phone and you can’t talk to anyone. They deliberately try and keep your deposit. Please be very careful this is not the first time…..

I am absolutely horrified to read the reviews from other tenants and landlords, had I seen them before I would never have rented a property through DJ Alexander. Without question the worst estate agent in the UK, bar none. Completely unprofessional and cynical, their customer service is diabolical or, more accurately, non-existent.Calls go unanswered (they screen their calls so purposely don't pick up when they see your number). Emails go unanswered. Voicemails are never returned. Their attention to detail is zero. You have to chase incessantly to get anything done and even then the response is slap dash, at best, and does not address all the issues raised.At the end of our tenancy the checkout report they produced was a work of fiction worthy of the Booker Prize. They cynically hold on to your deposit while attempting to find spurious reasons to keep hold of it. I am seriously considering reporting them to TPO Scotland as I believe they are in direct contravention of the Letting Agent Code of Practice.

I spoke with Aaron and I appreciated it, for his calmness and patience to hear me out, he also made suggestion that could help.But, they don't act on your email requests despite following up (which is auto generated, anyways) to get your details. Don't rely on it that emails will be followed up by the company.They are also prompt at picking up calls

The boiler in the flat needed to have its settings adjusted. I got a very quick response from Mark Hall who arranged for us to learn how to remedy this and we had it sorted in 5 minutes. Great response.
