Instant replies and the whole process went on smoothly . I however struggled on proceeding on the income verification page on Goodlord but was referred to their support team and everything was sorted and processed.

They should be reported and banned from providing the worse service you could ever expect from a company who actually claim to be the best on the market.Avoid them!They bullied us throughout the all tenancy and they now want to keep our deposit for ridiculous reasons especially considering the way the treated us.
MariannaI continue to refute the claims you put on this website, i appreciate that everyone has the freedom to express their views, however yours continue to be factually incorrect.We have not bullied you but instead we have factually represented matters which you have challenged. This includes the end of tenancy report which was sent to you and your landlord to review. We have never discussed "keeping your deposit" . I made a commitment to review your liabilities at the end of the tenancy in a fair and transparent manner. This has been fulfilled and you have received confirmation that the deposit will be returned in full. I am pleased you and your family have been able to find a new home and hope you are very happy there. I am sorry that we have not always been able to agree on all matters but i hope now with the return of the deposit then this will conclude matters.Kind regardsSteve RobbinsHead of Customer Service

I'm giving 1 star review because the 0 option was not available. My partner and I rented a flat managed by them and the whole process to actually get us in the flat was very quick, but after that it really has been a nightmare to have to deal with the agency. The flat that we are living in has mice, but not only 1 or 2 that are seen from time to time, mice that we see constantly at any time of the day. They go everywhere they want, they are annoying but most importantly, they truly can trigger health problems. In this case, my partner has been having allergic reactions (I'm a 100% sure he's having them from the mice since it NEVER was an issue before) and they know this because I have told them hundreds of times, via email or over the phone. They have never properly engaged with this problem, in 2 ocasions someone came and put poison but I repeated so many times that this wasn't enough. There's a HUGE hole under the sink -which we know this is the way they come through- and yet, after 6 moths living in this flat, they have not bothered on doing something about it. I suggested further things like traps so that we could free them out or ultrasonic devices, since I feel bad about them being poisoned and yet no one ever actually considered them. I would also like to mention that I did not like poison on the first place because I didn't want to find a dead mouse in the kitchen, and yet, we have encountered a few- and surprise, the people who deals with picking up a poor dead smelly mouse it us, not the agency. I was very tolerant at the start since I thought that the pandemic might be doing it hard for them to communicate or something but seeing other comments that complain about lack of communication makes me think that they are just simply internally very bad organised. I feel kind of bad leaving such a bad review but then I think that maybe other people will see this in the future and double think about renting a flat with this agency and it makes me feel better.

Unfortunately I am having a very difficult time with DJ Alexander at the moment and I am trying to become a new tenant! Communication back and forth for the change in tenancy was perfectly fine until the required documentation was sent over. I sent over all that was requested including my passport photo, payslips, proof of address, the lot and did not even receive a recognition email to confirm this was received. I had to reach out again the following week to check in, as I was concerned this confidential information did not reach them. I received a generic "we are working on it" response. Another week passes and I need to send ANOTHER chaser just to receive a reply asking for the same documents I had already send. I resend these, once again, no confirmation these were received. This is now over two weeks since the original documentation was sent and still no progress for a move in date which is fast approaching. I send another polite request for an update and again receive a generic reply with no information. Icing on the cake, they started the email with "Dear Jane,.." My name is Jess and this thread has been ongoing for over 3 weeks?What is going on here? I understand these are challenging times and have continued to be polite and empathetic in my approach. I understand these things can take time, but I do not think it is unreasonable to expect to be kept in the loop regarding your application. There are clearly some fundamental flaws when it comes to basic customer care and attention. Is this how I can expect future communications to be after I move in to the property, if I ever do?
