They are letting mafia. They will call everybody at the same time for viewing and it would be an auction. Everybody will try to befriend them and bid for paying more rent and hence more favor to them. On the face they will tell us that we forward all applications to the landlord and the landlord will select the tenant. But there is no transparency that they will send the application to the owner. I have viewed six properties with them, I have a full-time job and I didn't get any property as I haven't pitched for paying more rent.

I recently moved house with DJ Alexander, taking up the rent of a new property. The entire experience from start to finish was fantastic. I was guided throughout the whole process and supported every step of the way. Laura Mctaggart, our application advisor, was always there by phone or email whenever I needed help or to ask a question. She does the utmost to help tenants, and is supportive throughout the entire experience, from beginning to end. I cannot recommend DJ Alexander, or Laura, enough!!

They provided me with a disgracefully inaccurate move in report - especially regarding cleanliness. Then tried to get me to sign a document which said I would pay to get the property professionally cleaned (which was unlawful at the time).On move out attempted to charge me for things which I had brought to their attention on move in. Written and photographic evidence was clearly marked by myself on the move in report but they still ‘tried their luck’. They do not care about the tenant and only show loyalty to the landlord.

I would like to express my gratitude for Ms Galina Webster's help and support helping us to rent a flat in Edinburgh. We really are grateful for everything she did for us when we met her first time in Oct 2023. And finally we can move into the new home in March 2024.She is kind to tell us all information regarding the renting procedure in UK that make us impressed. She took the time to let us to tell our requirements and preferences, particularly for our children, and she kept in finding properties to match our need.Throughout the process, she kept to update us the status with guidance and advice. GoogleOnly giving 1 star because 0 stars isn't an option. This letting agency is actively the worst letting agency in Scotland. Their only interest is their own bottom line. I was with DJ Alexander for around 17 months and was astonished at how useless they are when it comes to everything you rely on a letting agency to do. Then when it comes to leaving your property they will make it as difficult as possible for you. And then, as if to rub salt in the wound, will charge you £24 for a landlord reference when you are applying for a new place. Genuinely avoid at all cost.
