Apartment at Hazlewood, Aberdeen

My wife and I moved into our new apartment at Hazlewood in April, the whole process went very smoothly.Alanna was very helpful, she explained everything about the fixtures and fittings at the handover stage, and came back several times when we needed clarification/information about some of the workings of the controls etc that We had forgotten about.Alanna presented us with a Dandara welcome pack, which had lots of nice things ie sweets, bottle of red wine and so on, she also gave us the Dandara information pack which contained useful information about the various items in the apartment.We have had customer services several times to fix various minor issues, they have been very good at responding to our requests, thumbs up to Alison, Mihai and Daniel of Dandara customer services.The apartment has been built to a high specification, and is situated in a lovely area of Aberdeen.We have had visits from friends and family, who have all responded well when seeing the apartment for the first time.Alanna has been a pleasure to deal with, and we are happy with the service received.

Dandara The Oaks Sharnbrook

Moved into a property at The Oaks development almost a month ago. I have to say everybody involved from the sales team, site managers, painters, plumbers etc have been nothing but helpful and professional. Special mention to Yasmine and Paul who kept us updated throughout the build with pictures and emails, and always found time to answer any queries. Very impressed with build quality and finish, and even now after four weeks the site manager checks to ensure all is ok. As one of the first to move into the development, therefore still building work in progress, I’m impressed with the way the site is managed to cause the least noise and disruption to residents.Well done to Dandara The Oaks team! Highly recommended.

I’ve been a tenant with Dandara for almost two years and I am very satisfied with their service. They’re very professional and responsive. Brendan McGill in particular was very helpful and patient in helping me to find my first apartment with them. I was able to comfortably communicate my budget and what I was looking for and he listened, and offered solutions. That meant a lot to me and I felt as though he genuinely cared about my interest. I recently signed a two year lease for my second apartment with Dandara, and again Brendan was amazing. He was very responsive and answered my email to view the new apartment almost immediately and within minutes an appointment was set to view the apartment.Overall I’m very pleased with my experience with Dandara; they have a very helpful team and their rental application process is quick and easy. I greatly value their responsiveness and willingness to listen and help. I would recommend them to everyone.

From our first involvement onward, the level of service we received from the Dandarra team has been excellence personified! The initial and subsequent meetings with Tommy were enthusiastic, informative and added to our appreciation of The Potteries as a home. Hazelwood & The Grange Sales Team

We spoke with Alanna at the Hazelwood & The Grange Development to get a brochure and an idea of the styles of houses and the various plot layouts within the complex as well as being shown around the showhome. Great customer service at Hazlewood

Although we didn't end up buying a house with Dandara (simply due to timing of when we needed to move versus the availability of houses), the help, assistance and communication from Andrea at Hazelwood was second to none. She kindly kept us informed of the progress of the houses in the size/style that we were interested in, provided information about timescales/costs and when we needed a little more time to work out our budget etc, she didn't put any pressure on us at all but checked in now and again incase we needed anything. I can't fault the professionalism and kindness!

I recently moved to Jersey with my family and getting an accommodation wasn't that easy as many people have forewarned. During these period I met Brendan (Dandara) on one of my visits in search of a house. He was very helpful and my interaction with him was reassuring. Albeit we did not get the accommodation of our first meeting but I and my family were able to secure the next accommodation through him and at this time our temporary accommodation stay was almost over. Fantastic service at St Michael's Park

We purchased a house at the St Michael's Park development in Stewkley and have been living here for nearly eight weeks. Our initial enquiry was answered quickly and professionally even though there was nothing really to see at that point, Kelly provided us with lots of information about what was planned. Kelly kept in contact with us from then and when the opportunity to purchase our perfect plot became available we didn't hesitate to make an appointment to view and reserve it. Throughout the whole process, Kelly from the sales office and Alan from the site team have been fantastic, very professional and easy to get on with, the process could not have been made any easier. We have purchased a couple of new builds before but the quality, design and customer service that Dandara have provided is on another level to any of the previous developers we have purchased from. Aftersales service has been excellent and there appears to be a genuine desire to do the best for their customers, the other staff working on site have always been considerate, courteous and friendly. Thanks to everyone involved at Dandara, we are delighted with our new home.

From our initial interest in a New Build on the Paddock View development Jo and Dale were extremely helpful and reassuring as we had never purchased a property of plan before. The support from both of them during the process was fantastic and every concern we had was dealt with quickly and professionally. Jo and Dale have continued to support us since we have moved in and help in any way they can if we have any questions. Poor Customer Service

In late 2021 we decided to purchase a house on the St Michaels Park development and made contact with Kelly, the sales rep on site. This should have been an indicator of things to come. Kelly was always impossible to get hold of and never returned our calls.Our original plan was to put our house on the market, but we didn’t want to do it without knowing when the new house would be ready. After a lot of chasing, Kelly finally gave us the completion date in Feb 2022 and suggested we use Assisted Move. Another sign of things to come was Kelly getting the price of the house wrong. Surely an essential part of the job?We were told that we would have four weeks to sell and then there would be a review. The New Homes Group were instructed by Dandara to sell our home and, after they made contact, ensured our credentials and organised valuations our house went onto the market a week later.Three and a half weeks after that, Kelly contacted us to let us know that we had until the following Monday to sell or our reservation would be terminated. Whilst this came as no great surprise, we were disappointed at the lack of a review that we had been told would come first. Kelly explained to us that there was no negotiation to be had around this and that Monday would be our final day of marketing.Later that day, the New Homes Group telephoned us with the news that they were terminating our reservation with immediate effect. This, obviously, came as a great surprise! I telephoned Kelly to ask about this and was told categorically, by her, that the New Homes Group were wrong. Kelly explained that she would call them to sort it out and then call me back. I heard nothing more and received no call back.The following day I received a call from one of the estate agents appointed by the New Homes Group to let us know they had been instructed to remove our house from the market immediately.I telephoned Kelly who expressed great remorse in our situation, but blamed her Head Office for the decision and the actions taken. No apology for (again) not calling me back, no apology for her giving the incorrect date (twice) of the termination of our marketing and no apology for us having to hear the news from an estate agent rather than her.I have had a small email exchange with Kelly since the above, but still no apology or explanation as to why we were only given three and a half weeks of marketing or why she was telling us that we had until the following Monday even after the New Homes Group were telling us differently. I have also emailed her manager, but am yet to receive a reply.Whilst I appreciate that nothing is ever set in stone with house purchases we feel particularly aggrieved that the ‘review’ never materialised and that our marketing was cancelled with no notice despite being told twice by Kelly that it was due to finish five days later. It was also very disappointing that Kelly didn’t have the courage to call us back with the news that she was wrong and left us to find out from one of the estate agents.For a company that supposedly prides itself in customer satisfaction, I strongly feel they have let themselves down on this occasion.
