GoogleOakfield have recently acted for me and my wife on the sale of a flat in Eastbourne, the instruction having been handled by Sam Hines and Josh Thompson. My experience of dealing with Sam and Josh over a prolonged period and within a less than straightforward market has been one of total satisfaction, from initial contact through to advice on value, finding a suitable buyer and securing completion. Excellent communication was maintained at all times and I welcomed the approach adopted whereby I was told what I needed to know, not what I might want to hear. I have no time for the latter approach in business as it achieves nothing save ultimate dissatisfaction. GoogleWe have recently sold a house through Oakfield Eastbourne and from the initial valuation visit Lauren had buyers lined up. We had accepted an offer on the first weekend the house was on the market. Throughout the process Lauren and the team were proactive in keeping us up to date and also chasing other parties in the chain to help keep things moving along. GooglePhoned at 5:20pm to enquire about a property as it just went live and wanted a chance to rent it. Was told someone else would call me in the morning as "they're the one managing the viewings". They never called back, didn't even ask for my number. Went with another property and agency instead.

GoogleWe really enjoyed selling our property through Oakfield. Lauren was exceptional, not only did she produce excellent photos and sales info, but her local knowledge in valuing the property and when presenting it to potential buyers achieved a sale price for us that was higher than we’d expected (and higher than other estate agents had predicted!). Lauren and the office team are warm and friendly and easy to work with. We highly recommend them.

Since receiving this I have searched our database for your tenancy to see what occurred with your deposit and I don’t have a record of you being an Oakfield Tenant. For clarity regarding deposits, Oakfield are a professional managing agent who deal with end of tenancy deposit claims appropriately. Furthermore the decision of a deposit deduction isn’t one Oakfield makes, the decision is that of the landlord.
