I had a great experience viewing flats today. The agent, Scarlett, was very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable on the properties. It was especially good given Fox and Sons would be managing the let, knowing that their agent is so approachable. Gave me plenty of confidence as a potential renter. I would recommend.

Staff were friendly but just a bit useless. Kept on saying stuff would be sorted but never did, had to rely on just the landlady due to no help from them. Even till the last day it was a challenge to even get my holding deposit back, they kept on saying "it was with the finance team", delays taking around 2 months and had to even get the holding deposit company involved to get them to take the money and retrieve it off them. This was after we agreed it would be returned within 10 days and after the landlady said the property was fine and we could have the full amount back. Just be aware anyone who chooses to go with them it will be a challenge to get even pennies off them. Targeted at Southampton branch.

We had the best experience dealing with the team at fox and sons when selling our property! Annabel, Harry, Callum and Steve went above and beyond to sell our house, with many viewings and always updating us with any feedback. We also went on some viewings with Sam and Harry and they were both informative and very approachable to ask any questions about the houses we were looking to buy. Fox and Sons Langley- Disappointing…

Fox and Sons Langley- Disappointing experience. In my experience, my offer was not passed to the vendor for approximately a week after I submitted it. I had to chase them to get a response, to be told two other people were dealing and they would get back to me, they did not I had to chase again and was told they didn’t realise it was my official offer even though I spent thirty minutes in total to them and the reasons why I was submitting that offer! I was subsequently told that the vendor had “chewed their ear” about the level of the offer, and I was left feeling that I was being held responsible for the vendor’s reaction. I was also disappointed that concerns and defects I had raised during the viewing did not appear to be acknowledged in the same way afterwards, being told that vendor said they did not exist, I felt dismissed and gaslighted From my perspective, I would have expected the offer and the information I provided about the property to be communicated promptly and accurately, and for the agent to provide appropriate advice to their client. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not choose to use this agent again.

After seeing a house with Foxes/David but deciding it wasn't for us, he kept in contact and rang to inform us about another house he thinks we may like (which, with todays rental market, most agents aren't bothering to ring out anymore, so we really appreciated this!). During both viewings David was really helpful, polite and professional. He really knew his stuff about the houses and one or two questions he couldn't answer, he rang us later that day with answer. His communication has been consistent and he has been so helpful. Thank you David!

We are in the process of moving into a new property and everything has been handled by Scarlett. She has been absolutely wonderful the whole way through, from showing us the property (and being very knowledgeable) to welcoming us into their shop with a lovely smile to handle ID and Address queries. I believe fully that when we are settled in our property, Scarlett will still be available for us and help however she can. Very pleased with the service we have recieved!

Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings. STAY CLEAR

When my other half and I wanted to secure a mortgage, Stephen Rogers (Branch Manager) put us in contact with their resident Mortgage Advisor, Andrew Titherly (Sequence Mortgages). As nervous first time buyers, nothing has been too much of a request for Andrew and his counsel has been greatly appreciated. We visited here with our daughter who was looking at various flats. The process of purchasing that first home is a huge decision. Fortunately the team were brilliant. They were able to accommodate viewings at short notice due to us travelling home the following day. Teresa was absolutely brilliant from the outset and provided my daughter with all the mortgage advice and offering options on a property that my daughter needed . I was more than happy to return home because I was confident my daughter was in good hands with Teresa. I recently sold my flat with Fox & Sons Eastbourne and the whole transaction from start to finish was brilliant. When I first went to them to say that I was looking to sell, they were able to come out straight away and looked to get me a great price back. For comparison I used another local firm (Town Property) who actually told me not to sell and that if I did I was going to loose too much on the property. Fox & Sons were able to sell my property for nearly £20,000 more than their competitor's thought the property was worth and their competitor didn't even want the business. I have used plenty of Estate Agents over the last few years and having bought through Fox & Sons Eastbourne too, I have to say that they are the best agents I have ever dealt with. Big thanks to Callum as he helped me through the whole process and he deserves to go far in this industry. If you are looking to sell a property then don't waste your time going elsewhere and ask for Callum!

Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number. When I explained my frustrations, they were far from understanding and got defensive. I will not be using this estate agent nor recommending it to anyone.
