I've just completed a complex purchase through Fox & Sons Rottingdean, and could not be happier with the service. Alex in particular was conscientious about keeping me up-to-date throughout, and reassured the vendors that the finance would come through in time for their own purchase deadline. The other staff, in particular Alison, were warm and very helpful. And when I got the keys yesterday, it was very touching to find the vendors had left me a lovely card wishing me happiness in the flat, and two bottles of wine to celebrate!Thanks, Alex, you were ace!

We received exceptional service from Fox & Sons. Our agent Yushin was brilliant. He found some really nice properties matching our criteria that we hadn’t noticed ourselves, and he booked us in to view them within a couple of days. He offered great service, info, and knowledge during the viewings and followed up quickly with answers to our questions afterwards.

I've recently started looking for a property to buy. Being neurodivergent, I have requested all correspondence be via email from all letting agents, so i can orgabise and manage a very overwhelming process. Unfortunately, Fox and Sons (brighton) seemed to have an issue with this and even so I repeatedly requested email correspondence, I was told that 'phone calls would be easier for both of us'.

AVOID JACK ALLSOBROOK. He will lie & con you of your money. Took us for an extra £3000, we signed the form for £25% if he got us over the asking price, he then took back the paperwork to supposedly complete the form,unbeknownst to us he changed the percentage to 1.5%, we didnt check it as he had just reiterated that we would be paying 1%. We didn't find out until our solicitor paid Fox & Sons the fee. We didn't see or hear from him again. We called the Lewes branch on the 16th Aug 2023 when we found out we had overpaid be told he had been transferred to the Crawley branch due to so many complaints regarding his underhanded approach. Thank you Jack for stealing from us and I expect many others. I wonder just how much further you can sink, but I expect your pit is bottomless & of course this corrupt company have done nothing about it. Not even a phone call from head office. As long as they are making money they do not seem to care.

GoogleExcellent service that met and surpassed my expectations. Every staff member was professional and took the matter seriously and all goals were achieved in the end. I had initially registered with a different housing agent to sell my property and only then will I be allowed to reserve another property I was interested in. This didn’t happen and I made a quick decision to register with fox and sons who got me an offer just before the last of the property I was interested in sold. I was able to buy it and am over the moon. Thank you Fox and Son staff members. You rock….!

GoogleMy house purchase ended up being a very long one (almost 2 years) which was no fault to Fox & Sons. Nethertheless, throughout the whole process Fox & Sons stayed committed and did everything they could on their end to help the situation. All of the staff are freindly, helpful and dealt with all of my requests in an efficient manner at every stage of the process. Highly recommend Fox & Sons!

Excellent service from Scarlett and David at Fox and Sons, Eastbourne. Both very friendly and efficient on the telephone and in person for property viewings. No delays or need to chase up for anything as they were so efficient unlike the opposite experience recrived with a number of other estate agents in Eastbourne regarding lettings. Wishing them both much success in their careers.

Been property hunting for many months and been able to witness first hand a vendor rip a property away as process begins. Fox and sons peacehaven team kept in regular contact with myself and tried to find and locate suitable properties within our catchment area between Goring and Newhaven, but higher offers kept coming forward.. After discovering my mortgage with a direct bank was dropping rapidly despite my deposit increasing, Jonathan was a great help in hitting a high enough agreement that I was able to secure a place. I must admit, I didn't feel pressured when venturing in to enquire by phone, I didn't feel unwelcome when needed help and advice after agreements failed and have faith and belief now that the team here will be not just a named brand of estate agents, but a team that has the ability to put the customer at the heart of what they do... So on my recommendation if struggling to get on the property ladder.. Come speak with the team here as like me, you could be pleasantly surprised... Once again a massive thank you to the team at Peacehaven for the genuine experience and support over the months it's taken to find the right home...

Stupidly agreed to a free valuation with no pressure however after deciding we wouldn’t be selling for a while and telling them that, I’ve had call after call from both the Crawley office and another local office. I emailed them to ask that my details be removed from their systems which was acknowledged however the calls continued.

Arranged viewing, it was raining, we got early but that’s our problem. Then a minute before the arranged time a young guy got out of the car parked right in front of us. He’s from Fox & Sons. He’s been waiting in his car whole time knowing we were waiting outside the property in the rain. He could’ve said like, sorry we can’t show till the arranged time then we’d walk back to our car and wait.

Used Fox & Sons Crawley multiple times to rent one of our properties. They sent us a bill for lettings shortly after a new Tennent arrived which was incorrect and we naturally requested an accurate invoice. Silence for several weeks until we got a letter from a debt collector!! Wowser! We then spent time chasing unanswered calls and emails. The answer from the lettings team at Fox & Son Crawley was "it's nothing to do with us". Clearly it was everything to do with the Crawley branch as they can not do simple addition. No response from branch manager either - as expected. Would not recommend and will avoid in future!!

Due to various physical and mental health problems I trusted in the professional attitude of Calvin, manager of local office in Poole and Rachel who deals with auction sales elsewhere - both were absolutely awful, unprofessional and cost me quite a bit of money. Definitely world not recommend Poole branch F&S nor Rachel Barnes re auction input to property! Messed me about and caused much distress when they were aware of my physical and mental health! Definitely do not recommend.

4 months to move into an empty, chain-free property seems pretty fascicle but it wouldve been a hell of a lot longer had it not been for Curtis and his colleagues at Fox and Sons, Hastings. I had 6 months to port my mortgage or it wouldve doubled and my property wouldve been unaffordable. It was two certificates holding back the sell. My solicitors were hopeless, the sellers solicitors were just as bad but thankfully Curtis said if this isnt sorted within 24 hours Max is pulling out. 12 minutes later the certificates would be there in the morning and 12 hours later we were good to go. I get they want their cut, but I hear so many stories about estate agents taking their eye off the ball, and the buyer left chasing, thankfully that wasnt the case with Fox and Sons. I had to pay my solicitors £2,500, shouldve given it to these guys! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Tried to underhandedly go behind my agents back to the client telling them we are bad buyers and he should sell through them even though our offer had been accepted and put a for sale board up over our sold sign .. really really bad business practice
