We have lived in this house for nearly 8 years. For the first 6 years the property was managed by another letting agency. At times during the first 6 years we were treated very poorly. 100 days of water ingress in the living room was just one example. Another was a reported leak at the boiler was left for several weeks until the ceiling collapsed. The property store took over the management of the house some 18 months ago. We deal with a gentleman called Martin Grubb. Martin has been like breath of fresh air. Repairs are dealt with quickly and efficiently. Martin makes us feel valued as tennants and my wife and I are really greatful for the respect and good manners he displays. Martin is the consummate professional. David Welsh

Gillian and the team @thepropertystore do a fantastic job for us! We have been a client of their’s for 5 years now and they manage our properties in a process and diligent manner. They have a perfect balance between making sure your tenants are kept happy and protecting your asset and interests. I have been using the Property Store for almost a year, and the difference between them and our previous agency is startling with how their staff communicate with their renters. For instance, one of the staff members Martin Grubb who is their Repairs Administrator, has been incredibly helpful throughout our time renting from them. We had some routine issues with a boiler in winter, and a lock, as well as the council wanting to complete work in our flat for a flat below. In all these instances, Martin was exceptionally helpful and took all the stress out of everything for us. The workman who came to fix any problems were always on time at a time arranged by Martin which suited us, and very efficient, and Martin was always quick to follow up anything needed. Some people say that estate agencies are all the same, and I used to believe it until we became a Property Store client. They're very good!

I will have been a tenant for two years with Property Store in October and can’t praise them enough. I recently had my inspection done by Charlene who was lovely, asking me did I need any repairs and making sure I was happy. Staff have always been very courteous and attentive. Any repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently. Staff have a lovely manner when speaking to them and always let me know well beforehand when safety checks ect have to be carried out in the property and exactly who and what company is coming to the house. Their communication and the way they deal with repairs is brilliant and they also follow up to make sure everything is fine. Thank you.

The house we recently bought was marketed by the Property Store EK. When I called to arrange a viewing it was outside office hours so I fully expected it to go to voicemail or to have to call back the next day, however June answered and put the appointment in the diary, which was fantastic. Conveniently, the EPC link in the listing on Rightmove included the home report so we had all the info we needed in advance of the viewing, in an easily accessible place, without needing to request it. The property certainly lived up to the photos - often estate agents will use optical tricks and high angle shots to make rooms appear bigger than they actually are, but that wasn’t the case here. It was exactly as shown/described and we were thoroughly smitten when we viewed. From a buyer’s perspective, we had first class service and all went smoothly from start to finish.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

I recently sold my house with the Property Store and highly recommend them. The Property Store price structure was extremely competitive but there was no compromise on the service offered. Euan gave me excellent help and advice with everything from the home report to preparing for viewers, and both Euan and June arranged my viewers and managed my offers. Their support was invaluable and made a stressful time much easier for me, as they were available outside office hours and kept in touch throughout. I achieved a great price for my house, but it was also really important to me to work with a company who have integrity and treat both buyers and sellers honestly and decently. I was massively put off of renting from this company. I was moving to the area and asked to arrange for my partner to view a property in Stewartfield. I was met with a lot of resistance trying to organise this and during the process of waiting for a response, the poor landlord dropped rent on the property. It's a 'Massive Avoid' from me, for tenant and landlords alike! I ended up letting via Douglas Dickinson, who have provided an all-round much more pleasant impression/ experience. ***EDIT*** In response to The Property Store reply (I can't seem to respond to that, funnily enough), It took 2 weeks to get an initial response then a further week to be offered a slot out of hours, which I couldn't do. After this I had found another property with a more responsive letting agent, so didn't feel the need to respond again. As mentioned above, during this delay the landlord for the property had dropped the rent payment. Read into that what you will!

Absolute worst letting agency I have ever dealt with!. The Cumbernauld store convinced my partner and I in to paying for private referencing through themselves at the cost of £70. We were told this would be the easiest and fastest way to obtain all the necessary paperwork before moving into a property they were letting. WHAT A LOAD OF RUBBISH!! Their referencing company were constantly harassing me to provide them with employment references. The reason I paid them, was to save myself the hassle. So I told them just to refund me and I would deal with it myself. That was when they ignored us, and continued emailing requesting the references. After this, we were totally p****d off, and decided to go with a different letting agency altogether to find our new home. My partner spoke to the Cumbernauld Property Store on the telephone yesterday to be told we will not be receiving our money back!! Total con merchants, ripping a family off right before Christmas. I would never recommend them to anyone. Save your money folks. Disgraceful!!!!!

From viewing the flat, dealing with the application process and then as a tenant, I've always felt supported by these excellent professional women. They get things done and promptly. All the members of the staff have been an absolute gem: responsive, approachable, collaborative, and overall very well organised. From the moment that I spoke with Niamh on the phone, I could tell that the process of looking for a flat would be painless even if it were not successful. BUT IT WAS SUCCESSFUL & PAINLESS!!! Niamh, Rebekah, and the rest of the team communicated with me throughout the entire process. I never wondered what was going on or if I had given everything needed to finish the application. They created a profile for me so that if one place was unavailable, they would show me something else. I could not believe the short amount of time that I was approved for a lease. However, the most extraordinary thing is their customer service, because I could tell that they cared! They listened to me and took everything I had to say into account. They were thorough in answering questions and happy to do so. You cannot go wrong with this team!

She kept me well informed of the process arranging home reports, then taking plenty of photos of my property to appear on all websites, June kept me well informed with appointments for viewers and follow up facts after every viewing.
