WE HAVE PAID RENT SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE - YOU DO YOUR JOB! REPAIRS ARE A LEGAL OBLIGATION. NOT A FAVOUR. Second month at our property (managed by The Property Store for a private landlord) and the honeymoon is over. After a litany of delays in getting things fixed (some items should never had had to be reported: like no hot water or central heating on the day of the move, to a boiler acting up for over a week). The landlord and The Property Store send YouTube videos for us to have a go at sorting things out. Only problem is that I am registered disabled and lack any DIY skills. But then again, when people rent who is responsible for repairs? In a recent email from The Property Store Gillian stated: "Please be aware if repairs are reported and contractors are sent out and no faults are found or repairs are as a result of tenants misuse then we will charge the contractors invoice costs back to you to make payment." Wow. Have these people even read the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 or the Equality Act 2010 and that, in my instance, they are failing miserably. (Plenty more videos available upon request).

After renting for 3.5years with the property store, I am changing my review from 5stars to 1. Everythings fine when its going their way. However, if you disagree with a rent increase to what they want (even above legal limits) they will escalate it to tribunal without giving you notice. They will then come and harrass you in your home, enter without permission, take pictures of the house and refuse to make amends. Ive now left the property, and they couldnt give me a correct final figure for rent, trying to charge more and telling me my rent date has always been 30th when ive paid rent on 1st for over 3yrs. Had to argue about that as well and send them emails from 2021 for them to accept they were wrong. Incompetent, unhelpful staff and managers. Will never use again. Do not recommend.

I recently sold my house through Property Store, I highly recommend them. They provided very high quality photos, drone footage of the property, very detailed floor plans with measurements. They also provided valuable insights from viewers themselves as well as details on the web tracking to the listing etc. Really useful information and it allows you as the seller to make any neccessary adjustments for following viewings that may help the sale. The team themselves were great, they were friendly and very helpful throughout.
