Googlei am a landlord and have been buying & selling properties in the last 40 years, my preferred agent is Slater Hogg and Howison kilmarnock they are very professional and the staff are excellent and they get the best price !!! so i would recommend them 100%

Craig was great to deal with, he provided an extremely high level of customer service and was very helpful. We were really pleased, especially as we sold our house so quickly. GoogleThe passage of this application for a new rental flat went smooth from start to finish with Bernard meeting me at the apartment showing me around and clearly giving advice and information on the whole process and procedures that Slater & Howie use to represent their clients. Very Professional. The office work in the background Shannon , Bernard and colleagues working to make the conveyancing go smooth right through to the my tenant agreement signing and moving in. GoogleAbsolutely useless, popped in last week to see if they would put my property on to let, and arranged a letting agent to come out view my property. Agent (Bernard) didn't turn up, i phoned and was told by a lad he was supposed to call me that morning to say the agent couldn't make it. I gave a week's notice for an appointment and they couldn't find time for a call, so my time was completely wasted. I was asked if i wanted to rearrange appointment and going by what I'd seen already i politely declined.

As a first time buyer with very little knowledge of how the processes worked, I couldn't recommend Susanne Mclaughlan from Slater Hogg Mortgages enough. She was incredibly helpful in explaining in simple terms how mortgages, purchasing and the various legal elements all worked. And in the end she helped secure me a great mortgage and worked very quickly to meet deadlines we faced from other parties. Really appreciate the excellent service and I've already encouraged other friends that are looking to buy a house, to get in touch with them!

I just had a call from some kind of Slater Hogg rep today and follow up texts asking me to phone urgently so I could get mortgage advice. I decided I'd give it a try. I'm in Fife and got someone with a London accent who had no idea about my circumstances. It felt like phishing to be honest and it involved really idiotic questions about my renting my property out (I'm literally not and never have intended to) and how many bedrooms I'm looking for (even though I have my offer for my new place accepted as of a week ago). Really bizarre. It was like someone who is cosplaying as a fortune teller trying to get answers from you by widely guessing at circumstances and past. I'd not use this company again tbh.
