We first used Your Move in 2014 when our house wasn’t having any luck on the rental market with another company. Within a couple of weeks Your Move had found us a tenant and they were a very helpful and friendly team. I have used Your Move again recently and once again received a top class service. Nicola, Ian, Chera-lise, Dominic, Annaleigh and Sue have provided me with some much needed support over the last couple of years, whilst I myself was dealing with a bereavement. Everyone in the team has gone above and beyond to support me and let me sit back whilst they deal with the house sales for me. Their help has been very much appreciated and I would never use any other estate agent.

Thank you very much indeed to the whole team in Durham. Ian gave us a detailed and realistic valuation and assessment of the property. He and Dominic ensured that the advert, with the essential floor plan, were complete and put the property in the best possible light to secure viewings, including going beyond the call of duty by tidying up for a tenant to ensure the photographs showed the property as its best! Viewings swiftly followed - they were well organised - and before we had anticipated we were accepting an offer from a cash buyer. To a large extent we put this success down to excellent communication by Dominic in particular: our calls were always returned, which is quite rare currently. But all the team we spoke to, however briefly - including, Nicky, Annaleigh and Chera-Lise - were exceptionally pleasant and professional. Marvellous! Graeme and Rosemary

I’ve used Your Move to sell 3 of my properties over the past 8 years. Ian has always been so supportive and informative through the process, he wants to get the best outcome for you, I know I’m in good hands with him. Nikki always returned our calls promptly and really cares about your situation and understands how stressful selling a property can be and this empathy comes through in the communication. I’ve spoken with Dominic and AnnaLeigh on occasions and they were very friendly and helpful. I recommended Your Move to my father in law and my Mam after they both received poor communication and follow up from other estate agents and the team at Your Move have certainly restored their faith. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Dealing with Your Move (Durham) was one of most needlessly upsetting and stressful experiences I’ve ever had… Our otherwise excellent Landlord/Tenant relationship was enormously strained due to Your Move’s miscommunication between parties, blame-shifting and overall pushiness. Your Move showed a total DISREGARD to personal arrangements made between our landlord and ourselves; we had agreed to continue living in the property (at the initial request of our landlord) until the property was sold. This arrangement would’ve also enabled us to move out gradually and discreetly. WE DID NOT CONSENT to interior photographers taking photos of our personal belongings during this transition period, however, due to Your Move putting pressure on our (elderly) landlord for the interior photographers to ‘go ahead’ - this meant we were forced to to move all our personal belongings elsewhere at VERY LITTLE NOTICE! Your Move’s online property listing also contained deceivingly-worded information alluding to the fact that we (the tenants) had been ‘living at the property for years’ and were now simply ‘moving on.’ As it stands, Your Move DID NOT SEEK OR OBTAIN OUR CONSENT to put this information on the listing! I had to ask (twice) for this information to be removed after the agent refused to do so. And since our reason for moving was ultimately due to long-term prolonged harassment, discrimination and theft via neighbours from three different households (with police involvement made necessary) - for Your Move (Durham) to use the ‘length of our stay’ as a selling point was, (I felt) unprofessional and dishonest. Based on these experiences, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING YOUR MOVE (DURHAM) #RUSHmove #BADmove #WRONGmove
