Liene on the team was supper helpful and listened to all of my needed, then helped me to find the perfect place for my little family. GoogleWe were recommended to Alexander&co by a local tradesman as we live out of the area of Dunstable now. My brother and I were selling my late Mother and Father’s house (also our family home for many years) so it held a very special place in our hearts. From the moment we met Julia Wheatley we knew we had made the right choice. She was very empathetic to our situation and treated us respectfully as well as being extremely informative. The house sale itself was dealt with by Gary Brooks who kept us up to date throughout the whole process. I am pleased to say the sale went through very smoothly. On the day of completion I received a phone call from Julia to say that it must be a day of mixed emotions for us but so pleased everything went through well. What a lovely touch! I cannot thank the team at Alexander & Co enough and would highly recommend them to deal with any sale or purchase of a property.

GoogleWe was very satisfied about the experience, for us it s the first time we go through something like this.. and for the beginning I was a bit scared about the people I ll meet at the agency. Many time I heard about them bad things but we was very lucky to meet this guys Connor McQuillan and Regan Crawford. This review is for the Aylesbury branch. I made an offer for a property for rent the Alexander and Co and the agency refused me on the basis of adverse credit for one of the tenants, despite the fact that the lead tenant had excellent credit and their income was more than 30 times the rent. The agency refused to accept a guarantor or increased deposit (so the company's policy and duty of care to vulnerable tenants is empty words) and didn't even let the landlord know about the offer. They ended up reducing the asking rent by £100 before the property was let to someone else, so the landlord ended up losing £1,200 a year without even knowing. Very unprofessional communication with the agency, via WhatsApp, with the agent messaging me using emojis.

GoogleDidn't use for sale but they were the agent for our purchase and they were excellent. Lauren Curtis was point of contact and was extremely prompt in dealing with everything. She was actually getting conveyancing updates to me quicker than my own solicitor!
The sale progression team here have a wealth of experience in the property sector. Lauren works tirelessly chasing through the sales, emailing and calling the solicitors, mortgage brokers and parties involved in the transaction.

AYLESBURY Landlord experience: Unfortunately inherited their abysmal services on buying a BTL property and then nothing but problems with sending us the rent money owed paid by the tenant. It took them THREE months to change the bank details. In the mean time, the money was going to the previous owner!! A legal nightmare to say the least! I had to find the money from elsewhere to cover the mortgage. In the mean time, the communication non existent, the staff do not know their terms of Business, you ask a simple question on an email and they still say they will have to go away and find out the answer, and then never get back to you. Then when you go to finally leave them at the end of the tenant's contract, (considering you haven't even signed up to their 'services' in the first place!!), they try telling you that if you do, you have to pay two months FULL RENT paid by the tenant + VAT. It's shocking how this business is operating and this is your forewarning not to use their services as a landlord. Embarrassing.
