Nightmare move

I used Hunters to sell my home after living there for approximately 35 years. I want to acknowledge that the sale itself was complicated and involved significant delays, including probate and Land Registry issues. Hunters did work to keep the sale progressing, and I recognise the time and effort involved in that process. However, my experience on completion day was extremely distressing. I was still in the process of removing my belongings when the buyers and members of their family arrived at the property. My family and I were placed under considerable pressure to remove a lifetime of possessions as quickly as possible. My belongings were outside and in the street, and I felt deeply embarrassed, overwhelmed and humiliated by the circumstances. I had expected the handover of my home to be handled in a calm and organised way. Instead, what should have been an important and emotional moment after 35 years in my home became one of the most distressing experiences I have ever had. I raised a formal complaint with Hunters. The agency investigated the matter and explained that they had followed their usual procedures and were not aware that the buyers intended to attend the property at that time. I appreciate that Hunters were not present at the property and therefore could not comment directly on everything that happened there. I also appreciate that the completion process itself is controlled by solicitors and that many aspects of the timing are outside an estate agent's control. However, I remain deeply upset by the way the handover unfolded and by the experience I had on the day I left my home. I believe clearer communication and better coordination of the physical move may have prevented the situation from becoming so distressing. Having considered my experience and the response to my formal complaint, I would not recommend Hunters based on my experience of the completion and handover of my property. This review reflects my personal experience and the impact the events of completion day had on me.

I cannot recommend Hunters Stourbridge enough, and I also cannot recommend Sam Davies enough either. Sam kept me up to date with the progress of my purchase every step of the way, better than my estate agent selling my property and solicitors! I will be using Hunters for every property going forward and will recommend to all family and friends. 1 bed property Sparks Close, Dagenham, RM8 - Landlord and hunters agent where complicit in illegal procedures regarding discrimination. We went through all the paper work and wasted 2 weeks till they call me and tell me the Landlord dont want a baby in the property. Don't trust them slow untrust worthy. And definitely dont rent the sparks close 1 bed property, Landlord seems like a handful save your self

As a first-time landlord looking to rent my flat out, I found the advice and guidance provided by Hunters very helpful. Using their knowledge, they ensured the property was pitched at a suitable market value and marketed it successfully. The property was also placed with another estate agent but the number of enquiries through Hunters was substantially greater. Hunters effectively managed these enquiries and associated viewings making sure I was kept informed of how things were progressing. During the time Hunters have been manging the property I have found all the members of the team equally approachable and happy to help with queries. They always respond in a friendly and accommodating way and follow things through quickly e.g. when Becky was recently away Elisha responded immediately to an email request and helped coordinate things with the tenant in quick and efficient way. Would certainly recommend Hunters as agents to help you if you are looking to rent out your property.

My experience of dealing with all colleagues from this office has been positive in regard to their professionalism and communication. I have to mention one member of staff in particular who has been extremely helpful and informative throughout the process- Samantha Siviter. Ok well ,Recently I sold my house through Hunters in Stourbridge , that was not easy decision, that’s why when I had my valuation booked with Harry S. senior sales. I was straight forward with my expectations, Harry was really helpful and clear with everything and his knowledge about the sales market was impressive ,he promised me he will do his best to get the price I want and get everything sorted ASAP . Honestly he sold my house in couple days for even more money I wanted. The communication during the sale was impressive I was only waiting couple hours for his response on emails , call me for any updates even this small ones but I knew exactly where we was in process .
