If you want the best estate agent around Stourbridge, instruct Hunters!! We recently sold our house with Hunters in Stourbridge. After 35 years of buying and selling many houses, they are the most professional agents we have instructed. Our main contacts were Ellis and Steve. Both exceptionally thorough and helpful, and always keeping us updated with progress. It wasn’t the easiest sale for Hunters, but Ellis went above and beyond to ensure we got this over the line. Without Hunters, I don’t think we would have completed. The level of professionalism extends to the whole team. Whenever we called, there was always a helpful approachable person to talk to, even when Ellis and Steve weren’t available. How refreshing to be able to write such a positive review for an estate agent. It was a pleasure to have you helping us through our sale.

I have been extremely happy with the service I received from Hunters estate agents to help with my recent house sale & would definitely recommend. Although I wanted to move house, I was nervous about putting my property on the market. After speaking to a few estate agents, I decided to sell through Hunters. Steve took me through the sale process & different options that I could take, to help me make a decision about what to do. I liked their approach to a sale, telling me about the company, researching my property & being very respectful of my home & circumstances. When my property went on the market Ellie was my main point of contact. My property sold quickly but I didn't want to move until I had found a property to move to. The process to buy was slow & difficult, but throughout the process Ellie was supportive, patient, offered advice when needed, & communicated throughout to check-in & respond to my queries quickly. If Ellie wasn't available her colleagues were always happy to help. When things became difficult with the house I was trying to purchase, Ellie was kind, listened, & offered advice & guidance, communicating to my buyer so that they could be reassured that I was committed to the sale. I recently sold my house with Hunters, I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their house. I mainly dealt with Jack, who was polite, professional and knowledgeable. However whenever I spoke with other members of the team they were equally as good. Having dealt with a number of other estate agents (when viewing other properties) I can say Hunters were so much better, they are really on top on their game. They might be a little bit more expensive than some, but it is the old saying ‘you get what you pay for’, and that’s certainly the case here. House buying and selling is an extremely stressful time and I believe Hunters made the journey a lot easier for me. I'm here on a student visa, and Abi was able to help me move into a lovely property. One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters

One of my worst experience buying a house from hunters auction. House was listed on website and tenanted for a fixed amount of rent which I was told by the auction agent called Robert. Also house was in bad state but got told tenants don’t care so why do you. Only to find out later on that tenants have never paid anywhere near that amount and it’s so much lower. So was lied to first of all and then later to meet the tenants and for them to tell us all the work they was promised and they wanted the house fixing top to bottom. What an absolute joke and waste of time and money. Keep your money and go elsewhere they will tell you anything just to sell a house that is overpriced

Rude, poor service - a must avoid for renters

Rude, get passed around from pillar to post while they try to ignore your requests or questions. Tried for years to get them to fix things but just continually fell on deaf ears. Now they're trying to claim issues are my fault which are down to shoddy contractors (which they use consistently, including at one point despite having had yearly gas checks, I get told that the previous 6 years hasn't been done properly and the build up that caused a leak was because of this. Everything is everyone's issue but theirs. Renters, avoid at all costs!

Ellis, in particular, was extremely professional, helpful, communicative and reassuring during what turned out to be a rather protracted sale of my house. His persistence in 'chasing' the chain was remarkable and meant that he discovered the cause of the problem and delays at the bottom of the chain before any of the Solicitors did which led me to nickname him 'the terrier'!! Having bought and sold with Hunter’s in the past, I had no hesitation in using them to find a tenant for my rental property. Unfortunately the tenancy didn’t work out which ultimately led to me going to arbitration to claim compensation from the tenants deposit. Beckie Pearson from Hunter’s handled the whole process from start to finish and kept me constantly updated on the progress of the claim. Hunters sold my parents house and what a pleasure it was .Fantastic team, Ellis looked after us from the beginning to the end . After having two other estate agents before Hunters took over, it definitely was third time lucky, Ellis was absolutely lovely he kept us informed all the time by checking in weekly and going over how things was going.
