I did not receive the level of mortgage…

I did not receive the level of mortgage support I expected from this company. While their general customer service was satisfactory, the mortgage advisor was not helpful. Despite charging a substantial fee, I do not feel that he secured the best possible deal for me. In my view, Mr. Mazar Singh appeared more focused on maximising his own profit than on acting in the best interests of the customer, particularly given his £700 fee.

Dixons Erdington made it easy

I've recently completed, I was a first time buyer, I'd had a previous bad experience where a dodgy seller pulled out at the last minute and cost me money, I was kind of struggling with the whole process, but Dixons made it easy for me. I was shown round the property by Alison, who knew everything about the property and the area, even who the neighbours were, then from there Sarah handled it and she was brilliant, always keeping me informed and chasing the other solicitor. Then my solicitor went into administration and couldn't carry on working and even then Sarah told me exactly what to do and handled it all for me once I had a new solicitor. It was a massive relief in the end. I'd definitely recommend Dixons after that.

Dixons - Erdington Branch - my brother and I sold our late parents property through Dixons Erdington. Charlotte Rose is a magician! Charlotte was superb from the outset with open and honest discussions about the property and excellent advice to sell the property via the Modern Auction Method. Charlotte had developers/buyers on her books who didn’t waste time. They visited the house and confirmed the same afternoon that they wanted to buy the house. A stress-free sale with no fuss and no mess. Also, Charlotte was very supportive, caring and assisted with arranging ID checks and documentation for my brother. Charlotte, again, turned into a magician by having a stunning flat on her books which was perfect for my brother and she negotiated a great price. The whole team at the Erdington Branch were approachable as well as completely professional - I would totally 100% recommend the team in Erdington. Thanks so much.

Successful and happy We had a very unsettling and difficult time whilst selling a deceased persons house prior to and during this pandemic. Matt Till and the others we dealt with in Halesowen branch were exemplary under these difficult circumstances. They introduced suitable buyers to view In the first instance and we sold within 24 hours. All was going well until lockdown and the furloughing of staff - at both the estate agents and solicitors. This for us was extraordinarily difficult to deal with both emotionally and practically as everything took 3 months longer than originally expected.Matt’s assurences were invaluable and once normal service resumed he constantly contacted the conveyancing services on our behalf to avoid any further delays and instantly advised us directly to do whatever was necessary to assist the process. I went to Dixon for a flat on Oldbury, all god till i got there to see the propriety i was shocking in what condition was the flat, absolutely disgusting, they want 850£ rent for one bedroom and another 850£ deposit, the condition of the walls absolutely unbelievably all wallpaper falls down and tales from kitchen missing, no dors between bedroom and kitchen, and at the end I have refused to get the flat they refuse to refunding my holdings fees, absolutely legal robers this agents.

Bad experience

I would strongly advise to stay away from dixons/countrywide letting agents from managing a rental property. Especially the Warwickshire office as they would do everything in every opportunity to instruct their own contractors making false allegations of works required on the rental property to make money for themselves. They also hide their complaints procedures when contacted directly and asked about the process and their calls are not recorded so they make things up and completely disregard any instructions given by the landlords. Unfortunately complete professional crooks. They will put all sorts of barriers to raise a complaint and refrain from providing a final response to prevent escalation for their governing body to investigate.

Honesty i don't know where to begin... Me and my partner Amy came across these guys for a property online, we viewed it and loved it immediately we met with an amazing guy called Kieran and he was our main point of contact as well as his colleague Mark. Unfortunately the property didn't work out due to the landlord pulling out last minute 4 days prior to the move. BUT amazingly, unlike other agencies Mark and Kieran were with us every step of the way going above and beyond the job, contacting other branches on our behalf to find us the perfect home, and they succeeded! We move in next week (need I mention they did all this in the span of 2/3 days!!) They saved us in a way and both Mark and Kieran are experts in their roles. I'd highly recommend these two as they are professional, fast, polite and go way above the port of call. Me and my partner are apprentices, and they helped us when not many other people would. they forever have my thanks, and Dixon's will always be my first point of call for the future and should be for anyone looking for a new home as their service is beyond compare!!!!

I have been with Dixons Halesowen for letting my apartments for over 2 years now and have found them to be exceptional. Mark and Kieran have always been very supportive with our let's and have experienced business advice (Mark 20 years) with nothing being too much trouble even when they are very busy. There is always a warm smile and you have that confidence of being in good hands. Olivia in letting management and team are also superb supporting us through issues that may arise with obvious experience, nothing being too much trouble and seeing it through to the end with us. I came here to see Baljit about getting a mortgage following a recommendation. From the start he was brilliant, he explained everything in a way that I understood and found the right mortgage for me. Before seeing Bal I wasn’t able to get the mortgage amount that I needed and I thought I would have to pull out of the purchase of my first home, but with Bal’s expertise I got more than I expected.
