I thought that selling an unoccupied house in Bristol whilst living in County Durham was going to be a challenge but Nick and Elliott went over and above to make sure everything went smoothly from keeping me informed to visiting the property several times after an offer was accepted to collect papers and take meter readings for me. I contacted Andrews as the oven in my rented accommodation had stopped working. It was dealt with by Owen Copson, who arranged for it to be fixed very quickly and efficiently. We'd been trying to move down to bristol for months and we'd had terrible experiences with other agencies and agents till we manged to get Paulina at Andrews , Downend. luckily when we met Paulina she sorted everything for us. Even when we ran into issues and complication regarding our tenancy Paulina went above and beyond to make sure we got the place we'd been hoping for and couldn't be happier with the level of support help she gave us. Andrews were great from start to finish. Nick came to see me and offered a sensible and clear marketing strategy suggesting a sale price that was successful. Nick was friendly and professional and ensured he understood my selling position and the potential of the property. Following the sale, Katie kept me updated regularly and liaised with the buyers and solicitors as needed. My second sale with Andrews over a 10 year period and they haven't let me down yet. Had two viewings in one day with them, both for different properties. In the morning, I had confirmation texts to confirm they were to go ahead. Got to the first property viewing, no one there, wait 10 minutes and called into the office. They said the viewing was cancelled but couldn't give a reason why. But said that the estate agent was still there to show me around (after a lot of back and forth with them on the phone they finally agreed I could do a 5 minute tour of the house), he actually had someone else in there that had run over massively. His attitude was awful and was like I was a problem even though they messed up bookings. I went to the second viewing, again no one turned up at the next property. I called again and they said that the property had been sold STC. Asked why I had a confirmation text for the viewing, couldn't be answered. He was apologetic, and advised I should of got an email, phone call and text which I got none of and wasted over an hour travelling about and waiting. Andrews are one of the more expensive agents out there (for selling) and you would think that came through in their service, however it feels distinctly lacklustre. Would be apprehensive about viewing/dealing with them.

Great takeover from Luke

Recently Luke took over the management of our block of flats. I have to say, I felt Andrews had not been managing the block brilliantly before, particularly given how expensive they were. But Luke has been responsive, efficient and prudent with managing our money. Lots of lingering issues are being sorted out now. Have been really pleased with him so far. A real breath of fresh air.
