Nicky was a superstar in all aspects and at times was the only person who knew what was happening or who cared enough to make sure problems were over come. Our mother's property sold in January 2024, but I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank Domvs Preston again for their care and attention whilst promoting the sale. Laura Holt efficiently took our instruction, Julie Mansfield carried out most / all of the viewings in a very gentle manner, always letting us know when there was a viewing and always following up afterwards. She kindly reassured us that all was well when phoning prior to any feedback, which was very helpful and calmed us instantly as she then proceeded to report back fully on each viewing and also after each time the buyers returned to view the property! During times of inactivity, Nicky Mowlem in accounts / finance would make contact with us and kept the communication lines open which was a great comfort. She maintained regular contact during the sales process and basically "held our hands" until completion. I had another property yesterday morning that had been offered to me , but on the strength of your e mails and paperwork , which even contained the draft contract confirming the deal , we gave the other house up . GoogleI recently moved into a property in Weymouth via the DOMVS team in Dorchester who have been more than accommodating to all of my needs during the moving process.
Being able to gain some more independence for myself and having my own space has been a big move for me and the whole move has been made both easy and more affordable thanks to the help of the rentals team.
Alison in particular has been a fantastic help and great support for my move, even agreeing to meet with me beforehand to discuss affordability and explaining the whole process amazingly.
I couldn’t recommend DOMVS more thus far as a fantastic letting agency and look forward to enjoying more time in my new property.

I found the whole team to be genuine, helpful and cheerful. GoogleI am so pleased that I purchased Puddle Cottage through DOMVS. Having moved from my home of 27 years in Cheshire, I rented and viewed 39 properties, first in Berkshire and then Dorset. Truth to tell I was considering taking a break from viewing and had only one more booked viewing, and that was Puddle Cottage! Not all of the many Estate Agents I dealt with had the high standards that I found with DOMVS and I’m grateful to all at the Dorchester branch and the other branches in the county for being so helpful, delightful and professional.
Praise too to whoever looks after DOMVS advertising and graphics. The DOMVS ‘adverts’ on Facebook are so well done; I still view those posts though I’m certainly not thinking of moving out of Puddle Cottage. I would highly recommend DOMVS. They make finding a home a delight and not a drama! JK
