I had been researching viable alternatives to Upad whom I had previously relied upon for the marketing and administration of my rental properties. There are cheaper alternatives out there, but I was looking for a high level of service so was prepared to pay a little more, but still a fraction of the cost of a local high street agent.Whilst I encountered a few admin glitches along the way, these were remedied immediately. Throughout the process it always felt like an agent was available to field any queries be it by email or phone. I had dealings with Simon who corrected a listing error immediately (out of hours) and I credit Eleanor, Helen and Sarah with getting my new tenancy over the line.The only negative was with Van Mildert's handling of my prospective tenant's referencing, but the TOLA team were proactive in addressing my concerns direct with Van Mildert until a satisfactory outcome was achieved.I would say the customer service experience exceeded that of Upad in that it felt more personal and immediate. It even cost me less overall!I would certainly look to use TOLA again and thank the team for their efficient and friendly attention throughout.

Brilliant

I have used them on serval occasions for various properties, I usually use the basic contract generating service and occasionally the tenant finding service. They are competitively priced and the service is excellent. But where they are outstanding if you have an issue. I ran into a legal disagreement with the local council over Council tax when my tenant left suddenly. I was struggling to resolve the issue until TOLA explained to the Council the legal connotations of the letting agreement AST. I would give TOLA 6 stars if it was possible!

5 star easy to use On Line Letting Agent

After an abysmal service from 2 letting Agencies, promise the earth then never get back to you, always chasing up, charge you so much too I decided to use The Online Letting Agency. I can honestly say I wish I knew about them before. If you have the time to arrange the viewing and communicate with applicants it couldn’t be easier. We just completed our first letting…

We just completed our first letting with The Online Letting Agents, having completed lettings in the past with similar online service providers. The level service we received was excellent, and I would recommend The Online Letting Agents without hesitation.Things that I liked about the service were as follows - 1. You can tailor your package to your own individual needs, for example, if you already have professional photos and an EPC for your property, then you don't have to waste money on a package that includes these items. Likewise you can add on any extras that you might need, such as an electrical certificate or contract preparation and e-signing.2. The listing process is very simple and quick. The listing went live within a few hours of me submitting the information, and whenever I asked for amendments to be made to the listing, the amendments were made very quickly. 3. The automated viewing notifications (via email and text) are excellent. You receive more background information that I have experienced with other companies, for example when you receive the contact number for the viewing request you also receive extra information such as the prospective tenant's preferred move in date, and whether they have pets etc.4. Once an offer was made, the pre-completion stages were dealt with quickly and efficiently by The Online Letting Agents. Credit checks and references were obtained quickly, the contract was prepared promptly and in accordance with our instructions, and the e-signing process was very efficient.All in all an excellent service, with friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. I will definitely be using The Online Letting Agents for my next letting.

A fantastic company which is fast, highly efficient and knowledgeable. The entire process of finding new tenants for my property has been handled faultlessly - the ad went on to the relevant property portals within hours of my approving it, their systems for managing and forwarding inquiries were responsive and effective (they also did an initial vetting so I was not sent viewing requests from people who didn't match my criteria). Credit checks were turned round speedily and I had tenants within 10 days of the ad going live. There are templates and how-to guides on their website which I found helpful and at several points, when I had a dilemma, each member of staff I spoke to was helpful and knowledgeable. Highly impressed and would recommend unreservedly!

Very helpful staff and helped in finding a new tenant of my property quickly.The adverts needed changing as did a deal that I offered to have the property occupied over Christmas. All done with a pleasant manner. Great service

I really, really like working with The Online Letting Agents. They're affordable, "real" and try to support as much as possible. I like that they make the inventory transparent, contracts seamless and are relatively proactive. Rent arrives on time and more often than not I have no interaction with tenants - which leaves me to focus on my dayjob. My only reason for not giving 5 stars is that there is sometimes a lag in responses via email - but they do make an effort to pick up slack if someone is out of office for illness etc.
