Excellent professional service

I used TOLA for the first time and I was a bit apprehensive before I decided to go try and rent my property using them. However, from the first contact to the end of the process the staff was very easy to work with, responsive, professional and helpful. I was able to speak to Gemma whenever I had any questions or doubts. Suffice to say my flat was rented within a week and for the asking price. I received excellent service and would highly recommend them to anybody who wants to rent their property quickly and efficiently.Paulina

A surprisingly easy way to let out your apartment.

I was slightly apprehensive wondering if this was too good to be true. Agents cost a lot and on the face of it TOLA seems just too cheap. This was our first rental and we thought long and hard about agent or non-agent letting. We decided that we had nothing to lose, other than the fee and if it didn't work we'd just swallow that and go with an agent. Having editorial control over the advert is great, allowing you to describe the property exactly as you want - without the "agency speak". The responses are all handled by TOLA, which is great as it weeds out any time wasters. I like being able to talk to prospective tenants, it's a lot more personal than getting second hand feedback. TOLA sorted all the references and kept me in the loop at every stage of the process. TOLA handle the tennancy agreements and I've sorted the deposit via an online TDP scheme. Done. Simple. Best value. I recommend them highly and we will use them again in the future.

Finally put control in my hands and not at the mercy of others

I originally used an established local high street estate agent to market my property. It was a bijou new build apartment and should have been snapped up. After two weeks I withdrew it as I could not stand the lack of information and excuses. After spending some considerable time preparing a very detailed advert description on Word and preparing the photos in a folder I was able to upload the advert in one shot by pasting in the text and systematically uploading the photos. I say this because there is no facility to save the advert until later and continue, so you need to be prepared. TOLA were able to upload additional photos that I had emailed them. I purchased the gold service. Once placed and slightly edited by them I was bombarded by viewing requests. TOLA take the initial calls and are able to filter the requests to MY criteria. You receive an email with the candidates details and an SMS with their contact details and then you contact them to arrange viewings. Usually on the telephone you can make sure that both parties are suited to the viewing and rental prior to texting out the viewing address. I would say that you need to be quite organised in your calls and diary. Every person I called I entered into my phone address book with suffix TOLA and thus was able to send SMS with address, viewing date and time. Once let it will be easy to search the TOLA entries and delete the unsuccessful entries. The calling and viewing thing is quite tedious but then you are able to meet the candidates. TOLA do the rest with credit checks, contracts and handling. I have now been successful in the rentals and saved a substantial chunk in agents fees. Yes you need to devote some time into it but greatly rewarding and fantastic telephone support when I needed it and will most defiantly use again.

I cannot fault this brilliant service and the team behind it. From the ease of creating an ad for my flat to the clear communication for each viewing I received I felt in very safe hands. Once I had agreed to a tenant moving in the team quickly created our contract and took over the handling of the deposit. A superb, all encompassing service.

Helpful, Friendly, Motivated, and highly Efficient !

As a Landlord, I was agahst, when I found out the going rate was £550, for a local Estate Agent just to find me a tenant. (Adverts would be extra) I realised that 'Zoopla', 'Rightmove' etc would not accept adverts from individuals for 'homes to rent', so I had to find a company that would do this job for a more reasonable fee. I appointed 'T.O.L.A.' after trawling the net. What a find ! "The Online Lettings Agents" kept me informed every step of the way. Highly reccommended !

I Will Never Ever Go Back to A High Street Agency Again!

Although called Online Agent, the service provided has been surprisingly personal! Very easy to communicate, quick and very well explained responses, no matter how naive one's questions are. The team and the director Eleanor go extra mile to make things clear, very co-operative! Every email is full of necessary instructions in plain language, step by step you are being brought to a desirable finish when your property is let out. The most important everything is transparent, everything is under YOUR control, and you ARE to choose the tenant you want and you get to know your potential tenant, NOT like with traditional agents when you pay lots of money and being kept in the dark and have no right to make decisions! It is like a breath of fresh air, I am elated! Very well done TOLA!

Great value, exception service.

This is the first time we have used this service having previously used Estate Agents, it was the saving in costs (£59+VAT as opposed to £450+VAT) that prompted us. The process to upload our photos and description was simple and once on-line the enquiries came quickly via text and email. We had 15 enquiries and had found a new tenant within a week. The principle benefit for us was that we met the potential tenants and chose the tenant who suited our needs best, which isn't always the ones who score highest financially which we feel a traditional agent would choose.The agents then completed the reference and sent us a tenancy agreement within the next few days. A very efficient operation, always polite, willing and helpful in any correspondence and questions. Highly recommended.

The best service I ever had.

We had 3 properties becoming vacant end of August. We got them all rented out to excellent new tenants within a week. On all the properties we had to choose between 2 or 3 prospective tenants wanting our properties. We had fantastic service from TOLA. I cannot fault them on anything. They are fast and efficient. Exceptional service at an amazing price.

Looking to rent out our flat I was advised by friends to use their high street agents - I couldn't believe how expensive they were and that we would have to keep paying when a tenant renewed. Searching online for zoopla etc. I found A web chat about the service of an online agent. I rang the number and as with all subsequent dealings with them I found a super friendly, experienced and professional person to help and advise me. The service was excellent and we were helped every step of the way with what is a new experience for us. I feel rather smug when I tell my friends about the service I received at what is a fraction of the price they pay. I would recommend The Online Letting Agent 100%.

Excellent friendly service and great value for money!

We have been using The Online Letting Agents since we started our business as Buy To Let Landlords in 2012. After approaching estate agents and finding 'rip off' fees we decided to look for another option. We have been extremely happy with The Online Letting Agents and would not use any other service now. Great simple service and a new tenant for a 10th of the price I was quoted by the high street agent

So this was my first time to use this online agent, basically based on the reviews here on Trustpilot. So glad I did, I was quoted in excess of £1,000 + Vat by a commercial agent to find a new commercial tenant. Using this service and writing my own advert, a new tenant was found after 6 weeks and all for £150 - absolute bargain!!! Will definitely be using these guys again.

Nothing but good to say here!

I’ve used TOLA to rent three properties over the last five years or so and cannot recommend them highly enough. Although they operate online, nothing is ever too much trouble, for example I was rusty as to what needed to be done when re-letting a property recently and Eleanor took the time and trouble to call me and talk me through it step by step.

Efficient, professional and good value

The service provided by TOLA is easy to use, a little more work than a conventional letting agent but worth it as I am in control at all times and not paying for a service (from high street letting agent) that is often below par. All staff that I had dealings with at TOLA were helpful and professional. Phone calls were returned and they did what they said they would. I will use TOLA for my other properties.
