Our team have a combined 80 years of lettings and property management experience. FacebookVery unprofessional need to ensure you give them 6 months notice after your tenants leave. No visits to check on property a clear breach of contract. So your tenant hands in notice and they insist you need a separate notice and to carry on paying for 6 months. There advice if we can rent for you again for 6 months you can immediately give them notice DOH. My advice stay away ……

Where do we start. Firstly for all prospective landlords if you are thinking of using this company avoid like the plague. We have had a property which has been managed by this company for over a year now. Very eager at the start to take our business however once onboard the standards of information, communication went to zero. They are quick to take your money but when things go wrong they turn a blind eye. The last tenant left over 6 weeks ago and after the promise that a final inspection had been completed we are still awaiting the final report. Over the six week period we have left countless messages for James Cope to call us back and to this day we are still waiting. The house has been left in a utter state it will cost thousands to repair and bring back to normal living standards. This company is a rip off and we shall personally be taking this further. Also a point to note. The house is owned by my mother who is 68, they've treated her badly every step of the way. We feel that shes been taken advantage of.........Scammers not a professional company as they make out.

TrustpilotVery poor, look elsewhere
As a landlord I had several properties on a "let only" service with this agent, their letting success rate was virtually zero. Very few viewings, poor communications, no feedback after the viewings, always appear to not know what is going on or who is dealing with what. Had cost me money in lost rental income. Get the impression that they are not always truthful in order to cover up mistakes. To any landlord thinking of using this agent - please don't!

As a landlord I appreciate the help in choosing a property that is wanted in the rental market. Different types of houses and different areas make a difference to the likelihood of getting tenants in a timely manner. I spoke with Simon and he gave excellent help and advice on selecting the right property. Following purchase he came out twice to do an evaluation and then later after agreeing terms he came to take photographs. We have used Professional Properties previously and been happy with the service they provide from rent collection and regular property inspection.

Don't even consider this company! For a letting agent with the word professional in their title, they're anything but. They are rude, they have lied and failed to respond to over twenty emails, phone calls and text messages. They couldn't even organise a contract and keys less than 48 hours before the house move, after knowing for two months and lost my tenants. The whole experience has left me shocked, horrified and sickened.

The WORST letting agent i have ever encountered. I am a former tenant of a property rented by them in Derby. They allowed us to move into a property without even telling the landlord we were moving in, so the landlord turned up to the house one day asking who we were and why we were there!?! It meant the house had not been cleaned and we were in a very awkward position. Whenever there was an issue with the property, it took repeated emails and calls to try and get hold of anyone. Every single person in the office tells you they will ring you back and almost noone ever has, unless it is because they want you to pay them something (fees, deposit etc). When i rang to find out about the deposit repayment, it turned out they had basically forgotten about us! Just genuinely the biggest headache of my life and I'm so glad to be out that house.

YellTerrible service for tenants
Service is fine until it’s time to end a tenancy and reclaim your deposit as a tenant. Exceedingly slow response times (a week or more) to emails, not answering the phone, and refusing to acknowledge, being obtuse about or not responding to any query or dispute that doesn’t benefit the landlord. The only agency I’ve considered reporting to governing bodies.
