The Lettings Team at this branch have been very slick and have provided excellent customer service to my partner and I (as tenants) which is practically unheard of!! I was unable to view a rental property until the following week and following a couple of unsuccessful viewing sessions, as they promised in this scenario, they got back in touch with me to arrange a viewing and believe me as soon as I was in the property I knew I had to have it so was chomping at the bit to get it off the market ASAP!! They have been very accommodating to our timetable and have work diligently and hard from end-to-end to get us into the property in record time! Jo is clearly an excellent leader and communicator as all three team members cross-covered all stages of progress and at no point did we need to either wait or repeat ourselves! I would highly recommend this agency and hope to use again in the future!

We contacted brown & merry through there wendover branch based in buckinghamshire. They arranged a viewing very polite and knowledgeable lady. Property was lovely just what we wanted. Then they informed us it was being sold through an auction by Iam sold.This is where the problems started. Having never purchased a property by auction before they put me in contact with iam sold who agreed a price with the seller I then put down a non refundable deposit which was a massive mistake. Unfortunately the sale could not be completed because of problems with the lease and we lost our deposit. I must add I done all my research and had a mortgage agreed in principle. So although it’s not all brown & meets fault. They should not deal with this dodgy auction company and any who gets advice to by property through an auction site please take my advice and go through normal channels.

I would like to thank the Team at Brown & Merry for getting this over the line. I cannot thank Gemma enough personally for all the support with myself getting my credit file in line to achieve this. The ongoing support from her has been first class. The process was pretty straight forward, however there was a real stressful moment when the mortgage offer was not uploaded to the portal. We received some wrong info from many parties which forced me to take action myself to ensure it was completed. It felt as though at times we were left in limbo and we were the ones chasing, rather than being informed and keeping us updated. That being said, after the confusion, Yvonne and Jamie were excellent in mopping up the mess and getting it over the line with our solicitors, thank you. I would use the team again and again. Throughout our journey to getting our flat. The whole experience has been nothing but stress free/simple and reassuring. My partner and I were on a tight time schedule as we’ve just moved into the area from Scotland due to work and the Agency have been nothing but super helpful every step of the way. We’ve worked along side many agents and by far Brown and Merry in Tring have been the best we’ve worked along side. Overvalued and little contact

Over valued and little contact.So much contact to get us to sell with them, as soon as we listed the house with them I received loads of marketing calls trying to get us to upgrade the marketing package. They encouraged us often to drop the price they valued it at. I really believe they give you a great listing price but then always encourage clients to reduce. If you look on rightmove you’ll see lots of there listings reduced. Sarah branch manger French promised calls back but never did. Alex was the only person in branch that was helpful. I also went with the solicited they recommended and they were also awful, slow and never communicated with us.

I gave them my number.. Big Mistake.

I asked for an evaluation.. this was fine.. no problems.. but I chose a different agent and now 4 months later they still regularly phone me up, once even saying "hello , this is your estate agent".. errr NO... they are abusing the fact that I gave them my number and now I cannot get rid of them.. Wish I had never done so. I am now apart of their ' any phone call is work' policy. B&M are owned by connels and the BBC has a page about their dubious sales tactics. They have a tv show about it also.
