I Dealt with Danya from the Thornton Heath branch. Very helpful, gave great advice and she helped me find the perfect flat that suits my budget and location. Danya was very helpful from the start until the end. Danya have been extremely professional and courteous in their dealings with me and I cannot recommend her highly enough! I never ever write reviews but the experience I had with Barnard Marcus was too good for me not to share. I have moved a total of 4 times with different agencies and my experiences with those have not been great, I always end up chasing them up or feel as though they are not helpful. My agent with Barnard Marcus was Ronneil, he was amazing. He was so quick with everything, patient (I ask a LOT of questions) and extremely helpful I’m so impressed with how easy he made the whole process and really appreciated all his updates with everything!! Couldn’t have asked for a better agent you can really tell he loves his job. Phoned to enquire on two for properties for sale with boards up, which were not on their website. Was told all staff were in a meeting. Phoned back in the afternoon and was told they were all too busy to talk to me, would call me back. I was speaking to the lettings person who could not help. Eventually got to speak to someone who said the two properties were not available and the boards were up in error. He could not help as they had too much work to do, due to just coming back after Christmas holidays, staff shortage and sickness. Very negative experience. Arranged a viewing for 12.30 with them. Came at 12.35. There was noone at the place. Called at the agency - told me they will check. Noone called back. So I called them again in 10min. Told me the agent was at the place at 12.30 and already left, and noone will come. Very disappointed with an attitude. Don’t recommend them unless you are ready for bad organisation with bad attitude to clients.

I booked a viewing with one of the agents, I took an early leave from work, travelled for an hour. After waiting about 5-10 minutes outside the place I call them and I am told that due to 'unforeseen circumstances' Ronneil Dormer couldn't make it today. No message, no calls to even notify me on the day. I was also told that I'll receive a call the next day with to rebook it. And guess what, that call never comes, nevermind an apology.
