Terrible service from this agent right from the beginning. Informed my property would sell quickly but after 5 weeks and an unimpressive amount of views, calls from the agent stopped after a viewing on a Saturday and coincidentally after I complained to the branch manager about the lack of speed in the sale process. Manager then had one of the sales personnel call me to apologise and then all of a sudden, more viewings appeared out of nowhere. I ditched them that day and appointed a new agent I quickly changed agent as I was incredibly disappointed with the service received from this so called large chain agent. Amateurs in my opinion. If you want to sell, use an agent who is honest with you.

Very disappointing. Started reasonably well, they were given the benefit of the doubt after failing to schedule rent due date according to the requirements of the tenant. Upon renewal of the contract, they announced an "Admin Fee" before they would accept the renewal - this was not open for discussion or negotiation. I will say that they have good service, always a smile on their face as they take your money off you. Will not be using this estate agent while I progress with my purchasing - who know what kind of "fee" they will find!

Horrendous experience... Extremely bad experience trying to buy a property through this agent. The process was very distressing as a first time buyer, no help support or guidance and the customer service was terrible. Because of agents such as the ones at this particular office, makes the process and experience of a first time buyer horrible and stressful. In my opinion they only consider your offers unless you are willing to take up mortgage advice and offers from their brokers, they "strategically" price properties in order to create a crazy bidding war between buyers and then lie to you! The agent I dealt was was obviously very inexperienced and very unprofessional and so was the manager. I have expressed my concerns to head office and advised that my complaint will be taken further and will be approaching the property ombudsman. I cant speak for all Bairstoweve offices But I would AVOID, AVOID, AVOID this particular office, if you are a first time buyer and want to be dealt with, with honesty and integrity! I will indeed be keeping an eye on Land Registry file for this particular property (in 3-6 months time) to see the outcome of this property sale was in line with what I was informed.

I am leaving 1 star and that is for Maxine Apps-she is their jewel in the crown and worth her weight in gold. I would giver her 14/10!! So far the rest of my experience has been pretty poor it shouldn't be because I think they are fairly well set up but their communication skills are so poor that I find myself chasing and chasing. It's so frustrating and a total waste of my time and money. I have had contact from the lady who will manage things moving forward and she sounds very hopeful (fingers crossed) but at this stage I wouldn't recommend Bairstow Eves which is a shame because all they needed to do was give me a call and not ignore my emails.
