Google5 stars for the amazing Adam at Bairstow Eves - East Croydon. His customer service is second to none and he has gone above and beyond. His knowledge of his tenants' needs is unreal, resulting in an offer on the first viewing.. before formal advertising. I look forward to a long-term relationship with Adam and Bairstow Eves.

GoogleI was very impressed by how fast the agency came back to me once I had contacted them about a flat. The flat is amazing, with a great view, at a VERY reasonable price. It is in excellent condition. Once I decided on the flat, the renting process went fast and was smooth. They also have an app, Tili, which will help you set up internet, electricity, water, and council tax quickly and efficiently. I highly recommend this agency which is very professional and responsive.

GoogleWe had three valuations, two of which were identical but we decided to instruct Jenna because we liked her manner and professionalism which immediately instilled trust. We were not disappointed. She demonstrated a good knowledge of the market and her valuation was well researched and supported by relevant comparable evidence. I've not rented a property in the last 15years and the whole process seems overwhelming to me, but with the help and support of one member of staff whom assisted me in securing a suitable apartment that met my needs and guided me through ensuring the process well.

GoogleI was constantly surprised by the tremendous cooperation and support that I received from the staff at Bairstowe Eves from the moment that I made an offer on the house I subsequently bought. I must single out Alex for special praise, always available on the phone, always imaginative and helpful, especially patiently standing by - and offering suggestions- as we spent 45 mins measuring the rooms for our rather large furniture. She is a star! But her colleagues all played their part, Ian, Richard, Ashley, all good. I felt every step of the way that they had their eye on the ball. I would recommend these agents highly.

GoogleYOUR DETAILS ARE NOT SECURE! My partner and I wanted to move into a beautiful flat that Bairstow Eves had found us. After agreeing all terms including the one that let our cat into the property after being told that it was not possible, I gave my card details over the phone to pay the holding deposit. I waited over night and the money had not left the account on the following morning. I called and asked what the problem was only to be told that the details were in a draw and the flat wasn't available. He was not aware of the difference between free hold and lease hold properties so after all, we were not allowed a cat - leaving us with no place to live after agreeing to move in within 10 days. Instead of calling me straight away, or instead of lying to me and his manager avoiding my calls, they decided to just pop my card details in an unsecured drawer in the office. Not only was I lied to and let down by this agent on numerous occasions, our finances were put at risk by their incapacity to treat every customer with respect and have the right procedures in place. Do not use this agent. You are at risk if you do.
Dear Mr Dunn, thank you for your feedback and I am sorry you feel your experience with Bairstow Eves has been a negative one. As the property in question was leasehold we advised you that it was more than likely that pets were not allowed and this was communicated to you personally. We called the landlord and she then said that pets were allowed so we went back to you to advise you of this. At this point we took your card details but didn’t process the money. The landlord then came back to us and advised us that pets were not allowed and therefore the offer could not be proceeded with. We disposed of your card details and made you aware of the situation. We did not lie to you in any way but I completely understand the frustration being let down can cause, unfortunately we act on behalf of our landlords and follow their instructions. The feedback we receive from our customers is imperative in making any necessary changes to ensure we meet the levels of service we demand as a business and you expect as a customer.

GoogleI would have appreciated more information on what to expect in the weeks leading up to the move. e.g. it was assumed that we knew would sign the tenancy agreement on the move day whereas I had thought it was normal to sign at least 2 weeks in advance. I would have liked to sign in advance. Would have liked to have clear information on when we should meet to sign the agreement ect, and confirm a meeting time in further advance (1 or 2 days advance wasn't really enough) so we could arrange our moving furniture times around that to prevent either party having to wait around or adjust schedule. Sometimes the estate agent didn't respond to my text or email query. We missed the inventory check due to poor planning but the move did go fairly smoothly and was managed well. I like that we are in contact with 1 agent only (Fionn) rather than multiple agents, which makes the communication easy and is well organised. Unfortunately can't give you 5 stars Fionn, which probably comes down to understaffing or a busy time for the agency.

GoogleVery disappointing. Started reasonably well, they were given the benefit of the doubt after failing to schedule rent due date according to the requirements of the tenant. Upon renewal of the contract, they announced an "Admin Fee" before they would accept the renewal - this was not open for discussion or negotiation. I will say that they have good service, always a smile on their face as they take your money off you. Will not be using this estate agent while I progress with my purchasing - who know what kind of "fee" they will find!

GoogleReally bad service.After everything has been approved by landlord my deposit is still locked.The manager is not replying to emails and when i call agency nobody know anything.Also when you moving with them take pictures of everything.Ex(a little spot on the floor,dust).When I move in was the agency doing check in and when I left the landlord.When I moved in house was freshly painted but still not deep cleaned.When I left I painted the house and I have been charged 235 pounds for a deep clean.
