Great Experience from Start to Finish

The total experience from start to finish was excellent with the Megan Baker team.Property details and the online viewing and images were of an excellent quality and the process of getting my property on to the market was painless.Megan and her team kept me fully up to date with viewings, buyer feedback and gave very useful guidance when it came to agreeing a sale price.Through out the conveyancing the team were excellent at chasing the chain and keeping me up to date with progress. I was always amazed when I called the office how up to date the whole team were on the progress of my sale. At no point did I have to wait for someone to call me back because the person who knew about my sale was out of the office or on the phone. Everyone seemed to know what was goingOverall the service was Excellent and I would definitely use Megan Baker again

Fantastic Estate Ageny

Megan Baker estate agents in Cowes on the Isle of Wight are exceptional. Unlike other agents I've used in the past, they are with you every step of the way, from initial viewing, through the negotiation process, ensuring everything runs quickly and smoothly until completion. They always respond to emails or telephone calls promptly. Always polite and professional. The most honest and helpful agent I've ever dealt with. They're able to make excellent recommendations for local services, conveyancing etc. I've only used them for the purchase of a property but I'm sure they would be equally efficient and dynamic when acting for a vendor. Couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I required a valuation of our property

I required a valuation of our property for personnel reasons, which were explained to Megan prior to her visit. When she arrived she was well prepared, gave her time even though she was aware we had no intention of selling. Megan explained things to me, asked questions and took information down. Over the years i have dealt with estate agents and have never been that impressed. Megan I felt was honest, trustworthy, professional, friendly, and interested in what I had to say. I would have no hesitation in giving her my property to sell if necessary in the future.

Beyond fantastic

There aren't enough compliments in the world that I can give this fantastic team of ladies that would come close to doing justice at describing the hard work they have put in to selling our home. They went completely above and beyond, chased information for our onward purchase that we weren't getting from the selling agent and gave us constant communication throughout the entire process from start to finish. A super organisation, you can speak to any one of the team and they will be able to give you the info or answer you need, and most importantly you always get through to someone or get a call back which is something I certainly didn't always experience with the other (much bigger) estate agent involved. You are a team that are all a credit to each other and I can assure you that when we look to start this process again this is the only number we will be calling. Thank you all so much

Comms excellence - selling during a pandemic and from Tasmania!

It is said that selling a home is one of the most stressful life experiences one can go through. But to do so from the other side of the world and during a pandemic, well the potential for it to all go horribly wrong is immense.This is the situation we found ourselves in!Sara and I are both so hugely grateful to the team at Megan Baker. In particular we are most impressed by the level of communication - just as it should be! So often in business today communication is sadly lacking. From the moment Anne McDine came to visit our Newport home before our departure for Australia we immediately knew that when it came to comms we were in safe hands. It is why we trusted the sale of our home to Megan Baker and not to the other two agents consulted, both of whom failed on deliverables within 24hrs of meeting.The sale process met the usual hurdles at the bottom of a chain which had ripple effects up the line. It was stressful, but the team at Megan Baker always updated us and never had to be chased. They were with us every step of the way - a huge comfort.So from deepest Tasmania, we send a genuine recommendation to anyone on the Isle of Wight considering selling their home - do not look beyond Megan Baker estate agents!
