I have worked with this estate agent for the purchase of my new home and the sale of my old one. I can’t speak highly enough of the service I received during both processes. Staff were very good at communicating with me every step of the way and proactive throughout in order to keep the business moving forward in a timely fashion. All staff were friendly, polite, knowledgable and helpful. Despite moving house being such a stressful experience, it was a pleasure to work with these peopl, and the stress was kept to a minimum. As potential buyers, very disappointing service and attitude by the managing director Neil! Unprofessional to let us have a second viewing on a property only to be told the next morning that an offer had already been accepted the previous afternoon! We were not made aware of the offer or invited to make an offer which we were considering making above the asking price. Upsetting for us and extremely unfair for the vendors trying to sell with them. The initial service from Ben in the office was exceptional so this poor review does not reflect his good work.

It's hard to describe in a just short sentence how good someone is , But all I can say Is you pay for what you get and Reeds Rains are by far one of the small majority bests estate agents In Coventry ,and I've used the few of the biggest and they were the worst. My experience was very poor. We agreed the purchase of a property, understanding that it was sold with "immediate possession" when in fact it was an asset involved in the early stages of probate hence dragged on for months. As soon as probate was granted and without notifying me the property was put back on the market because the vendor was told she could get a higher sum for it. I increased the offer to the higher sum and was the told that another offer had been made. Eventually, I offered considerably more on a "best and final" basis but the other party apparently bid more and the sale was made to them. I would not be happy to use this Agent either as a buyer or a seller.

I have instructed ReedRains on the basis of their close to 5* ratings here, plus they offered me lowest fees for selling my property. So I thought come back here and give a feedback on how they handled my property listing. Now I am sold with another estate agent. During first appointment photos were taken by Neil but I thought picture quality wasn’t great due to the fact it’s an old digital camera. While I understand every property take its time to sell, I thought Neil’s team lacked enthusiasm to sell. Prospective buyer enquiries were handled correctly but they tried to push viewings to us. At one point they told me 48hour notice is not enough to arrange a viewing... so overall I suggest there are more sale hungry estate agents are there in Coventry, give them a try first.
