GoogleWe have been using Matthew James for almost 2 yrs now , they have helped us let the property and kept us up to date with tenants keeping up with rent and any maintenance needed, and we are happy what they have done for us looking after our property. I would highly recommend using them ! So keep up the good work !!!

GoogleThey are ok my friend had bad experience he wanted purchase the property he living in but vendor was not willing to sell to him unfortunately his family was very unhappy in that circumstances

GoogleI have dealt with the Matthew James team since 2009 and always found them to be responsive to my calls and needs with regard to property management and maintenance. Where there has been an issue with the tenants they have visited site and sorted out locks and secured premises, and dealt with all contracts and rent collection - highly recommended.

GoogleMatthew James have been a waste of time. They have had no communication with me. Every time i called them they promised to call me back but never did. They have been unprofessional. I would highly recommend to ignore this agency and use someone else

GoogleTried calling 15 times in the past 2 weeks just to get viewing booking made. Only got through once to be told id be send a vdieo viewing via WhatsApp but never contacted again. Clearly don't want to rent places out, waste of my time and not serious agency. Wont have time for you even though you have money waiting.

GoogleWorst experience with a letting agency I have ever had in my entire life. They seem nice at the beggining but they will lie to you repeatedly until you get tired of trying to talk to them. I had to cancel my letting agreement earlier than expacted. I am definitely not recommanding their services.

My property was advertised on the website within a few hours of Craig visiting me to take details, photos etc. All contracts were signed and exchanged within a couple of days! Would highly recommend using Abode to any new landlords like myself looking for a trouble free agent.

FacebookThe experience I’ve had from start to finish as been a absolute night mare!!! From putting my offer In to completing took about 7 months always being told different things by different people! Now I’m in the property the builder Dennis has done so many bodge jobs from my garden to the pipe work, we have tried to get hold of this builder for the last few months and yet again getting no where with the estate agents or builder. Im really really disappointed with he service and the whole experience of what was advertised a luxury new build has been a disaster from start to finish I wouldn’t recommend using this estate agents me and my dad are being told different things all the time, no one wants to help they all blame each each stay clear of the builder Dennis pargetter doesn’t follow his builder warranty and has left me with pipe work that’s allowed my bath to fill with toilet and sink water !!!!! This is one of many problems In this property. 0 communication skills, empty promises avoid at all costs

GoogleWe had a great and fast experience with this agency when it came to documents and putting all the papers together, really friendly. I think that the fact that our agent was 15 minutes late bothered us but just a little bit, the guy being really friendly and helpful.

GoogleI was very upset with the service that they provided me. They slyly ripped me off for all my money, made me feel sad and never provided me the customer service that I would have expected for a well established agents. 0/5 would defiantly not use these rip-off merchants again.
Hi Kieran, I am sorry that you are were made to feel sad but you are not telling the whole story here and maybe you were not completely aware of what was going on as it was your Mum who dealt with the application on your behalf. You applied for a property through us for a twelve months tenancy. The landlord provisionally accepted your application pending references. After completing all searches it transpired that you were only going to receive funding for nine months. The landlord wanted to know how you were going to fund the final three months of the tenancy. Your Mum informed us that you intended to get a job at a later date. The landlord understandably was not happy with this uncertainty and asked that you either pay the final three months up front or provide a financial guarantor. As you were unable to supply either your Mum decided not to proceed. As you had paid rent and bond already we refunded these in full. However as we had spent a lot of time completing references and negotiations you fees which were clearly stated as non refundable were withheld to cover our cost's. Our policy regarding these funds were clearly explained to you on the application that you read and signed.
