GoogleWe were recommended Catherine by a friend. I was on the market with another agent for some time with no viewings incoming. We instructed Catherine and she was a breath of fresh air and managed to get us sold fairly quickly. Her attention to detail and efforts put in to making sure the sale went through were second to none. Thank you Catherine we will definitely use you if we move again.

GoogleGreat experience at our viewing, Jordan was very accommodating. Took 2 weeks to get a response to our offer however. Very poor communication - nobody reached out to me, when i emailed i was just told they'd get back to me ASAP. It ended up that the sellers wanted asking price which shouldn't have taken 2 weeks to get back to us. First poor experience within our first time buying process. Very disappointed.

GoogleWe used HR estate agents to sell our house as we are separating, our estate agent was Catherine Thompson. We listed the house for sale in May and it completed in October, we ended up in quite a large chain (6 households) and we were in the middle, splitting the chain in two as we were buying two houses, my ex-husband’s ongoing purchase was also with Catherine and our buyers were selling with Catherine. Catherine was absolutely brilliant from the very start, I have dealt with lots of different estate agents over the years and Catherine is by far the best one I have ever had. Catherine is fully contactable at all different times of the day and night & weekends (not just 9am-5pm Mon-Fri like I have found others are), even when Catherine was on holiday she was keeping us up to date with how things were progressing. After we had our offer and the sale started to progress & solicitors were instructed Catherine then did a lot of chasing for us throughout the whole process. My initial purchase fell through and I had to very quickly find a different property and Catherine contacted the new estate agent and provided all of my information, scanned ID documents, downwards chain information etc that they had requested to speed to process up for me, and to save me having to find everything again to ensure the completion date for the entire chain was not compromised, which as a busy full-time working mum was very much appreciated. Catherine understood our situation was very stressful with the separation and having two young children, and she made the whole thing a lot easier for us with her communications to us and her management of the whole process right from the start. In the past I have spent a lot of time chasing estate agents and solicitors myself which can be difficult and stressful. We would highly recommend Catherine if you are thinking of selling your house, as she will ensure everything is as smooth as possible and with as little stress as possible. Having Catherine as our estate agent ensured we had somebody we fully trusted to look after everything in the process for us. Catherine goes far above and beyond the service you would expect from an estate agent, she is extremely helpful, professional and her friendly nature ensured that such a stressful period in our life was made so much easier for us in so many ways. GoogleWorking with Darren at HR has been an absolute pleasure. Whilst unfortunately we hit the market during a slow period, leading to difficulties gathering interest in the property, Darren has been there every step of the way. He has been pro-active with his marketing strategies, forthcoming with suggestions and his perseverance shone through despite the challenge that our property gave. His relaxed demeanour and friendly attitude has been a breath of fresh air in a sea of "traditional" Estate Agents, and I would strongly recommend his services through HR if you are in the North Coventry Region.

GoogleFor total transparency, I have some skin in the game with this one. But even if Harry wasn't my son, I would 100% be selling my houses through him. Consummate professional, nothing too much trouble and an all round really lovely guy. When my 90 year old father went into a care home this year, I needed somebody to look after the sale of his house. I considered using another agent for about three seconds as I didn't want to mix business with family, but Harry was so clearly head and shoulders above all the others that there was no contest. When other parties seemed to be dragging their heels, Harry was always on the case. I will be recommending my own clients to Harry when the time comes for them to sell their houses. Total faith in him as an individual and in his brand. Do yourselves a favour and speak to Harry when it comes time for you to put your house on the market. Legend!

GoogleWhere do I start with James. For one, the wife found him on instagram, I said isn’t that strange, but it turns out she was right! And he was the best way to go. After dealing with viewings whilst we looking for a property from other high street agents we were so glad to receive a bespoke service throughout from James. James took care of everything start to finish(literally), we were one of those complicated sales where obstacles cropped up every couple of weeks. Towards the end James had a difficult conversation with us and delivered with great care. Above and beyond service. We couldn’t recommend more. Always so positive and always got us the answers Maybe something about a modern approach, no waiting 5 days for an email response Genuinely routing for him and look forward to watching his journey, thankyou for everything ! GoogleOur experience with HR started positive, and then went downhill. The process started in December 2022. We are first time buyers and we saw a house we really liked, viewed it twice with Darren to be sure and then made an offer on it and it was accepted. This was Margaret Avenue in Bedworth (which has recently sold again after we pulled out). We got a reduced price on the house due to the seller advising he would go lower if he didn't have to get building control to sign off the 3rd floor loft conversion, which does not meet building regulations (which we got confirmation/proof of). There was other work also done in the house that wasn't signed off to meet building regulations, our solicitor requested that the seller get sign off but he refused to pay for it, and his solicitor agreed with him that apparently it 'wasn't needed' - however it was as none of the work met standards. The process went back and forth for weeks and we didn't get anywhere. The estate agent dealing with this sale, gradually became less and less interested to support us, and was not very co-operative towards the end of the process. The property was re-listed around a week/10 days ago and since we have pulled out, the seller has gone in and covered up all of the cracks that we discovered (which we confirmed to be water damage potentially from the roof, and movement as confirmed by a survey we paid for). The seller has redecorated over everything, so new prospective buyers are none the wiser of this damage. The main issues are the house has water damage coming from somewhere, possibly the roof, and the estate agent himself said to me 'the seller is just going to get someone in, give it a clean and a lick of paint and then it can be put back on the market if you pull out and we will be able to sell it'. We also had a roofer out, who determined that the house needs a whole new roof and urgent repairs to the tiles, and a builder that said the loft conversion would need a lot of work to make it right. We did end up pulling out as the house has too many issues to proceed with and was too much of a risk in the end. In our experience, the estate agent and seller were very dishonest to us towards the end of the process. He seemed to mainly care about him being paid, and said to me that 'houses are no good to me SSTC, they need to be completed'. We loved the house and were gutted to have pulled out, however, we needed a house with a seller that wasn't going to hide large issues, and an estate agent that was honest and didn't continue to cover up damage on behalf of a seller just to get to the completion date, especially when you are paying hundreds of thousands for a property. Another buyer has now bought this house and is not going to be aware of the issues it has because the estate agent is not going to be honest about them because of the stress he had previously with ourselves trying to buy it, as we were not naïve like he thought, and we did very very thorough research into every aspect to make sure we did everything correctly. Overall, we did not have the best experience with HR, but this doesn't give a picture of the company as a whole.

GoogleThe agent I worked with through HR Estates, Catherine Thompson was great at keeping me informed throughout the whole process from listing to completion. She was very approachable & conscientious. The only downside, I was told that the price would be matched to another competitor’s quote & inclusive of VAT. I’m sorry to say that’s not happened in the end & VAT was added. Make sure you get full details on an email to save the disappointment down the line.

He was very accommodating and went the extra mile to help us with any queries or problems. I really appreciated his help and advice which helped me remain calm though out. GoogleAmazing service from Darren at HR Estates. From the initial viewing to completion Darren kept us informed and updated on the chain which removed the stress you experience purchasing a property. He was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions or quiries we had including and extra visits required. As a purchaser would highly recommend Darren for your sales as he ensures the purchaser is kept in the loop which is not often the priority of estate agents and this ensures the sale goes through with no issues. Will definitely be using Darren again

GoogleWe recently moved house although it was a stressful time Catherine was supporting us the whole way through making sure people were meeting deadlines and getting the job done in a very quick timeframe too, Catherine was ringing everyday to see if we needed anything making sure everything was being completed.
