I’ve been with choices over seven years I’m not great fun with Choices customer service but things change with Coulsdon branch as the first time I had wonderful customer service they are helpful, professional and organised, as they gave me all the support I need it, I have recently moved house with choices to bigger house and this the first time I don’t feel lost, just wanna say big thank you to “Greg Spencer and George Hawkins” as they have been greatest customer service Keep it going and make this branch a better place, many thanks for both of you 👍🏼

Worst agents in the world!

They sublet your property without telling you. They do not provide you with any contracts or tenancy agreementsThey then lie that their printers/computers do not work so they cannot print themThey then lie you are not entitled to put tenants deposit into a scheme yourselfThey then overcharge you for their services and you have to chase them for a year to get your money back.They do not pay your rent and then lie the tenants did not pay. Every month my tenant used to send me a copy of his receipt money being paid 5 days before the rent was due. Choices would pay me after my due date and also lie tenant did not pay on time.They do not return your calls and lie when they say someone will call you backThey do not let you make a complain and do not tell you who you should contact to make a complaintThe list in endless. If you have a bad experience with them please take them to court as you will win.I would never use them again even if they were the last agents on earth.

I rented a flat with Choices and the …

I rented a flat with Choices and the experience was very far from enjoyable. The flat was in very poor condition, no contact with Landlord, everything through Choices who did nothing on the flat. After leaving the flat in better condition than I found it in, Choices had the audacity to claim it hadn't been cleaned and tried to charge me £300 for it! Also hidden charges taken out of deposit, in the end I had to go to TDS to get some of that money back, but it took forever. Try to avoid this company at all cost.

I agree with the comment....its run by kids. We were forced to hand over the deposit money and sign contracts even though we wanted to move in a week later. they said the landlord would not let us have the property even though referencing and everything had been done. when we finally completed we hear the landlord asked them to delay us by a week because the house was not ready! They did not tell tell us that! We signed the agreements ready to move in and the house was not even ready for another 4 days! They lied and were so unprofessional, its a wonder they are still in business.

Avoid at all costs ! Unprofessional ripoffs, dishonest and fraudulent service! Agreed a let to me over the phone, drove all the way down to Coulsdon to sign the tenancy agreement and they changed all the terms they had agreed upon over the phone and wanted me to pay 6 month advanced rent all of sudden. Hence they backed out so I should've been paid back my initial deposit which they never paid back, and ignored my calls and texts from thereon.

I have a strong suspicion that the positive reviews are being written by choices them selves. They should be avoided at all costs. We were warned about them "a bunch of kids" and our biggest mistake was not heeding that warning. They tell you that the rental guarantee scheme is compulsory...then its not, but you've already signed so you can't cancel before 6 months. They try to make a profit wherever they can (90£ each for referencing) and customer satisfaction means nothing to them. A terrible experience with impersonal and unhelpful staff....ESPECIALLY LOUISE.
