One in a million

Rachel Nichols is one in a million! There is nothing that girl can’t or won’t do to ensure both my property and myself is protected , and ensures all relevant legislation is complied with in a timely manner. She is always calm and reassuring especially when having to deal with having to evict tenants (a new experience for me), to ensuring my property is well looked after, obtaining quotes from various tradespeople and brought back to a high standard. I know I have nothing to worry about - she is always one step ahead of me. I am constantly both amazed at her tenacity as well as her work ethic. I wouldn’t be without her! Thank you Rachel!

I cannot recommend Nikki Gunner highly enough, she is truly exceptional.About a year ago, I faced a very stressful situation with my let property managed by Choices: the tenants moved in but stopped paying rent entirely, essentially treating the flat like squatters/occupants. It was a nightmare, but Nikki stepped in and handled everything with outstanding expertise, intelligence, and efficiency.She has an incredible knowledge of the relevant legislation and eviction processes, which made all the difference in navigating what could have been a long, complicated, and expensive ordeal. Nikki was calm, strategic, proactive, and always one step ahead, she guided me through every stage lawfully and effectively, ensuring the matter was resolved properly. Thanks to her brilliant work, we recently received the Bailiff's notice for the final eviction, bringing this difficult chapter to a close.Throughout, Nikki was responsive, clear in her communication, and genuinely caring about getting the best outcome for me as her client. Simply the best!

I cannot speak highly enough of my agent Rachel Nichols. She has been servicing my flat for some years now and I have never had cause to query or complain about any aspect of her work. Urgent problem sorted

Nicky Dunn was brilliant when a leak was reported by the flat below mine on Good Friday. She quickly managed to get hold of the tenants and found a plumber who went round and sorted out the problem. I was extremely grateful, especially as I was 200 miles away on a break and couldn't do anything myself.

You can find better

I’ve been renting with this agency since 2021. Everything is fine as long as there are no issues with the property. However, if you need repairs or replacements, be prepared for long delays. Additionally, this is the only rental agency I’ve encountered that conducts inspections every six months, even for long-term tenants with a proven track record of maintaining the property well.

Steer clear! Non-existent customer service!

Should you be a victim of Choices horrible services, I strongly advise you to document and keep consistent evidence of all conversations, agreements and matters, especially in writing! Be sure to alert the Ombudsman and Property Redress Scheme!I was a tenant for 3.5 years at one of the properties Choices managed in East London. To say basic customer service deteriorated faster than the speed of light over the years, would be an understatement. The lack of responses from the Choices team, absence of basic maths from accounts and concerning lack of understanding on liability of contractual agreements from Choices has cost me much time, energy and stress in rectifying a matter which a child could resolve but the team at Choices (in particular Amy and Stephanie) can't seem to. The teams at Choices have no cross-communication which is a key factor in their poor service. Choices will also hold onto your deposit for dear life and bill any menial pennies they can conjure. I chased my deposit return for 2+ months post departure!!! Choices lack any genuine customer service and gameplay their forceful ultimatums should you ever make a valid legal stand or point with them. I have experienced this first hand with Esme who has been very rude, threatening and cold as ice in the past.Upon departure from the property I rented, especially as an excellent tenant, who never had any issues, always paid rent in advance, I was a fool to think it would be a smooth and easy exit. And if you value hygiene, cleanliness, and maintain a clean home, (also like me), you must still be wary of being charged an unnecessary exit cleaning fee. This is shy of £300 for a "end of tenancy clean", which is barely even a wipe down from what I have witnessed first hand.As a tenant now free from the shackles of Choices, I do not recommend them based on 3.5 years of experiencing their poor customer service which continues down a dark diabolical path.

Choices in Crawley marketed my property which is now sold. They were helpful and straightforward, kept me updated on the progress and assisted me with enquiries that I wasn't sure of. They carried out block viewings which was convenient. Thanks to Ethan and Robyn who joined Choices during the marketing and proved herself reliable and efficient managing the sale. Their solicitors AVRillo managed the legal side at very reasonable cost and being able to link with both the sales and legal team made the sale much easier.
