I clearly made the wrong choice by choosing Choices to sell my property as I selected the 'Buyer Pays Commision' option and ended up paying over £5k in commission!!..that is the clear fact of the matter and however much Choices team waste their time explaining the contract clauses and stipulations it is clear that you,the seller,if you change your mind after accepting an offer and request more money,YOU the SELLER end up paying the additional amount in commision.I will never use Choices again to sell but would rather opt for a more traditional agents where you know up front how much commission they will take as opposed to a 'Buyer Pays Commision' option with all the loopholes it entails.

Worst estate agents I’ve rented through, I had to fight to paint my bathroom white as they had used cheap magnolia trade paint so it was PEELING off the walls and I was told “it’s just been painted” so that took weeks if not months to get approved AND they HAVE not fixED any of the issues I chased on multiple occasions on the property. HUGE cracks round windows, gaps between window sills, cracks all around doors and window frame. Yes the property was a new build but a inspection was done over 6 months ago on these issues and still no further forward.I have now moved out and having to raise a dispute with TDS regarding my deposit as they keep saying “we’ve heard nothing from landlord and it can take 3 months” now after speaking with TDS they are suppose to return deposit within 10 days! And as no claims have been made I am not sure why it is taking so long. Worst customer service and unless you chase something constantly your basically ignored. Doesn’t help that the property is no where near their offices (they are based down south, I am in north east)Honestly, would not recommend.

Unfortunately, my experience of Choices is mixed and overall I was so dissatisfied that I was on the point of dismissing them as my property agents. The reason being that I had, on a number of separate occasions over the past year, given permission by email to undertake essential repairs and the lady assigned to manage my property had ignored them. Fortunately, the matter was handed to Rosie Kirk who was very patient when I explained the problem to her over the phone. However, she was more than just patient because within four days she had organised the repair work and as far as Choices are concerned Rosie saved the day.

Purchased a house through choices redhill branch in late march. Was met on first viewing my Harvey who was from the Crawley branch but he was covering the area.He was polite and very informative and gave us space to look around at the property. He was available at all times even on weekends to chat through the sale and keep comms between us and vendor.Overall an excellent experience and thoroughly professional and quick to our needs. 5 star service ,!!!!

Horrendous estate agency! AVOID AT all cost as they stand for all the horrible reputation estate agents are known for. Shady business, quick money, nasty fellow tenants and will definitely cause you a headache and a deposit short. Agencies like this should not be allowed to function and remain in business!
