Managed by David Poole our Coulby Newham branch opened in March 2000. This office covers Coulby Newham, Marton, Nunthorpe, Hemlington and Stainton areas. Located at the Parkway Centre it is ideally located close to excellent free car parking.

Very happy with the experience of selling our property with Michael Poole. The advice on price point was spot on. We had several potential buyers very quickly. Craig was very pro active and easily contactable and Ruby stepped in if he was unavailable. We will use them again.

Really great experience with Debbie at Michael Poole’s Debbie at Michael Poole’s was brilliant when I was buying my house on Bedford Terrace. Super friendly, easy to deal with and always kept me in the loop. Everything felt straightforward and well handled, which made the whole process much less stressful. TrustpilotMP don’t provide the most basic customer service/experience
MP are only interested in speaking to you when you have a viewing. My House has been with them all year and because there’s been little interest I haven’t heard from them for months. No check-ins, no phone calls just to let us know they’re still trying to sell. Estate Agency’s are all the same, just choose the one that will charge you the least % at sale as all the agency’s do is use rightmove. We were promised proactiveness to seek out buyers, as they don’t speak to us we will assume this doesn’t happen and it’s purely waiting for potential buyers to find our house on rightmove. We’d remove the house from sale at this point, but would need to pay MP a fee despite them not selling the house or even providing the most basic customer service. We aren’t bitter the house isn’t selling but the least MP could do is suggest ways of pushing it, they havent thought of one thing, instead it’s us who come up with ideas. To just leave the customers whose houses aren’t selling and never touch base with them is unforgivable service. Poor, poor show, we thought the agency couldn’t get worse than our previous one!!

From our very first valuation visit with Andrea, to every interaction for viewings and general updates (lots with Robbie too!) they have all been so professional, friendly and genuinely shown care for the details in the process and keeping us informed as sellers. We have had a great experience with Michael Poole. From start to finish, they have done everything we asked, advice, requests, changes to marketing, extra photos, videos, social media plugs, nothing was too much trouble. In particular, I would like to thank, Emma, Isobel, Kirby and then Helen. It has been an excellent service in the most difficult of circumstances and using the In house Conveyancers was a bonus too. Thank you all so much! Highly recommended.

I do not understand how this firm is rated 4.8 when 10% of the reviews are 1 star and nearly all are complain about misrepresentation. I HAVE COMPLAINED TO TRUSTPILOT ABOUT THIS BUT HAVE BEEN IGNORED. Estate Agents generally hide behind caveat emptor rules to enable the vendor to hide undesirable aspect of the property for sale. But this the first time (and I have bought and sold many houses in my life time) I have come across a fact stated in a advert that was known to be untrue by the agent. I complained to the Managing director Richard Poole by email and written letter but both were ignored. However copies of these sent to the auctioneer were acted upon. Personally I will avoid this estate agent and recommend others to do so.

GoogleWe recently viewed a rental property which we'd found online. Chloe met us at the house and showed us around, answered all of our questions and was very knowledgeable. What we really liked, besides how friendly and cheerful she was, she was very honest and not at all pushy. We didn't feel rushed which we really appreciated. Our application was then forwarded to Issy who has equally been very helpful and ensured a smooth process with great communication.
