The onboarding was excellent, the sales team were atrocious, but the conveyancing staff (especially Tara-Mae) were exceptional. We did consider moving estate agents. While the property is on the market, you speak to so many different sales staff. It is a different person each time. There is no personal phone number to a dedicated person in charge of your property. Prospective buyers have also commented on how bad the process for booking viewings is. We ended up putting our phone number on the sales listing to handle viewings ourselves. Doesn't that defeat the process of an estate agent when you're doing everything yourself? We originally accepted an offer, but the buyer pulled out when they realised they had to pay second home tax. Incredibly, I had to explain how the second home tax worked to the person phoning me about the offer about how it can be reclaimed. This was at 4.45pm on a Friday, and they promised to tell the buyer about this and phone me back right away, but they didn't phone back until the Monday, by which time they had moved on. There were numerous times Mov8 made me incredibly angry with their slow responses, and if you phone them back, its a new person you speak to, and you have to explain time and time again what is happening. The sales team is summed up when we had the flat under offer, and they sent viewing requests. I called them to stop these requests and the guy said "Oh, I didn't realise your flat was under offer..". Is that what you want your estate agent saying, when they don't know what is going on? The conveyancing team is the only thing that is keeping me from writing a one star review. Given the time of year, I'd take one of these 3 stars and chuck it in the air, and let it guide you to a more professional estate agent.

We heard about this team via our house developer and builders, from the moment we made initial contact, the team were fantastic at getting straight back to us with any questions and queries we had. If I could give zero stars, I would. The first phone call was with the guy called Andy (I didn't get his last name). He talked to me in the tone with annoyance and didn't answer my questions properly. He promised to get in touch after reviewing my case. It took more than a week. I had to call again. Then, I first contacted Robyn Fleming on the 12th of January 2021. Since then, I had to send numerous emails to Robyn and Leah McGibbon to get a response or to get something done. It took weeks for the compliance team to contact me. According to Leah, the compliance team was not thinking that my case is not urgent since my house will be finished by July. Even after I followed up with the necessary documents, I still have to send three emails to Leah to give me an update in 2 weeks period. There was no response. If they couldn't act on my behalf, they should have contacted me earlier or updated me with whatever they are doing. They wasted a lot of my time and effort with the whole process whereby I could have been doing that with another firm.
