GoogleHad Mary Ann as a solicitor seemed great to begin with when buying my first property she lost my power of attorney form that was signed for the week of the sale I had to take time out of work to drop this in again, I was contacted the week of sale as she had also never contacted the sellers solicitor, nothing was ever explained in detail as a first time buyer it was made so stressful and I have been told by many estate agents they seem to have these issues with mov8 a lot.

We were speaking to different people all the time, they made a mistake with our cash settlement for our house and called us the day before we were due to move asking for another £2,500. They then sent an email and it was now £2900. They sent another amended cash statement after we paid it and the figures didn’t add up. I tried to file a complaint and was just responded to email after email from the same person not explaining well to my questions and taking ages to respond. I would not trust this company with my money again.. very unprofessional after trusting them with so much money. Will never use again.

As we don't provide the Home Reports, we can't really comment on that, but the firm that we recommend for Home Reports is one of the largest and most reputable in the UK, heavily regulated by the RICS, so I'm not sure that they are 'dodgy'. We do have a money back guarantee, which is pretty unique for a solicitor firm, so if your friend feels that we haven't done anything for the money we charge, I'd recommend that she gets in touch to discuss the issues with us and we will do everything reasonably in our power to ensure that she is adequately recompensed.

And at the end of the day they even let the buyer take the bank transfer fees off the sale price!

GoogleBought a property through them , offer was accepted in early April with doe rarely July, plenty of time you would think but 1week before the doe they discovered some missing paperwork and the day before doe they discovered more missing paperwork.
Constantly fail to get back to buyers solicitors with updates and seem to use trainee solicitors. .worst firm I have ever dealt with.
