Very concerned about what I think is a serious issue and could have resulted in my brother losing a buyer. Selling with Mov8 recently, he has just found out that there was a person who had noted interest on his property, but when he received an offer from another buyer was urged to accept it, and not made aware of this other interest. This buyer's solicitor were then not contacted by MOV8 when his first offer fell through to check if still interested. Apparently when their solicitor phoned Mov8 they were told 'they were just about to phone them' - they said the same when the solicitor phoned them when he accepted the first offer and this man had not been given any opportunity to offer. So was only down to neighbours, friends and luck they found out his house was being advertised again, and offered. He has since realised he knows the buyers family, and has been chatting to him hence the reason this has come to light. I would say it is a solicitors duty to pass on all interest and offers to a client, having read the law society advice on selling. But my brother has now taken advice on this from another solicitor, and his advice is just to 'learn a lesson' about low priced agents, and be grateful all worked out in the end thanks to neighbours. It would cost him more money & effort to pursue this. So I feel I should write a review and at least make others aware of potential problems which at least I can do without cost and hopefully prevent others possibly missing out on buyers as my brother would have thanks to Mov8..

I have not been involved in selling a property for a long time and found myself dreading the process - having heard all sorts of horror stories from others. In fact it has been a good experience - in particular with the contact I had with Susan Lamb. She kept me well informed throughout the process and was very approachable, friendly and helpful and really made it good for me. And of course the up front fee helped me sort my finances and was helpful. I would most definitely recommend MOV8 to anyone else looking to sell a property.

Terrible service and Mov8 lived up to its awful reputation. I thought id give them a chance and made contact looking for assistance with buying a property. After getting passed around I eventually spoke to a girl who pretty much mumbled and gave me no confidence in her ability. Still waiting on a quote which I never received. We had a great experience with Mov8 selling our property, especially the conveyancing with Leah McGibbon who acted with professionalism, care and assertiveness throughout. This was especially appreciated as we had problematic buyers intent on messing us around. Our queries were answered promptly and thoroughly. I'm using them to buy a proper now and will be using them to sell another property later this year. Having used other solicitors last year who were slow and probably cost us a sale, I'm really pleased with how efficient the Mov8 team have been. The property market in Scotland can be a torturous and frustrating journey at times and things can be lost in translation leading to misunderstandings. Given my experience with other solicitors, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mov8.

I’ve been trying to get a viewing for one of their properties for almost a week. I haven’t gotten any replies from them, all I got was an email where they asked me to fill out a form. I did, but they never called me back. I sent them and email and then booked “a call” where one of their employees would call me but they never did. Terrible service. Not recommend at all! They seem to be uninterested in selling properties. Too bad.
