From giving advice about what information to put in the schedule and co-ordinating the Surveyor for the home report to the photographer who took the pictures. My Property Agent (Louise Carr) has been in contact constantly to keep me updated on feedback and has been very helpful as have the other staff during the whole process.

We had an amazing experience with this firm from start to finish. They communicate very well throughout the process, we knew what to expect and were guided all throughout. They have an online facility to view the interest in the property and the appoinments we had ahead. They are open late during weekdays and during weekends! They advertise everywhere possible giving maximum exposure for the property we were selling. I am giving the 5 stars out of 5 and an extra one for the human factor for the excitement on our behalf from our principal agent and consistent telephone contact to talk us through of what was going on, as we encountered some bumps along the way from the other side.

Mov8 made selling my mother's house so straight forward. I didn't have to worry about anything. Each department had expertise in a different area. Communication was great through frequent emails and all the information was also available through a personalised portal, enabling me to keep up to date every step of the way. I was advised to go to a closing date and as a result the house sold within two weeks. I would recommend Mov8 to anyone who has any worries about buying or selling a house.

Narrowed my choice of agents down to 3 when it came to selling my house and decided to try Mov8, especially as the had a 25% discount off fees in March. I liked the website and online customer portal where you can see all the activity, documents and appointments all in one place. This is the 2nd time we have used Mov8 - we used them three years ago to sell our 2 bed flat in Leith, and this time for our 4 bed house in Midlothian. We were really happy with the service before when our flat sold within 10 days, and this time when our house was sold in around 2 weeks. A lot is obviously down to getting the right person, but Mov8 certainly did everything right their end, from valuation, marketing and finally negotiation where we were really happy. The portal you get for viewings / feedback is really good and they are excellent for communications and getting back to you. One of the other main reasons we chose them was their flexible pricing - we only wanted to sell if we could get a particular house we had seen, and if that fell through we would have taken house off market. With Mov8 we were able to pay a much smaller up front cost, compared to rivals. Another firm wanted to charge full price even if we had taken off the market, c£6k!

We emailed and asked for an appointment to be moved (via right move). The appointment was not cancelled and the agent tipped up calling us. I stayed we emailed, then asked for a viewing at monday. I was in another city, I called the Monday before travelling and confirmed that he’d be there. He duly confirmed then got his office to call and cancel when I had already travelled from Edinburgh to Dunfermline. This was ten minutes before the viewing. I had already gotten my family to travel there. Absolutely shocking. No wonder the house has not sold!

Not what I expected - had the service been fantastic, maybe not so relevant, but took a week and a day to ever get an answer. When I phoned was told they are 'so busy' - not my problem! Not enough staff to deliver the promises. Would not recommend, sorry, disappointing.

I was very impressed with MOV8 when I sold my house in March 2015. The staff were very professional, efficient as well as being very friendly. Due to their excellent service my house was put on the market within 2 week of their appointment. The quality of the schedule and photos were superb. The web exposure was excellent (ESPC, Zoopla, Rightmove...). I was delighted that all this helped me to sell my house within 2 weeks. I am very happy:-)
