I contracted this agent for three months from May ‘24 to July ‘24. The marketing material was fine and initial communications were constructive, however, after going live with the property literally nothing happened. I found myself having to constantly chase the agent with phone calls and emails and there was virtually no input from them whatsoever. The property received no viewings at all within this period and eventually I gave instructions to remove the listing. Overall a most frustrating and underwhelming experience. I wouldn’t be inclined to endorse this agent nor would I be disposed to recommend them.

As a life long renter, I've often dreaded dealing with estate agents when I move home. Often, as a renter, your made to feel like nothing more than an end user and it seems the customer service is reserved for the landlord. This wasn't the case with Glynis from Chinneck Shaw. She has been informative, personable and approachable throughout the process. When we viewed the property it was clear she wasn't just slinging us the usual robotic sales pitch I've heard a hundred times before. She even mentioned a potential drawback to the property (very thin walls!) that she wanted us to consider. That honesty spoke volumes, I'm used to agents saying whatever they can to get the holding fee out of you. Glynis is a credit to the company, and our positive interactions with her were in no small part the reason we decided to move forward with the property in question. Been in a few days now and happy to report that they are still approachable and helpful even after the 'deal is done'. CheersPositiveProfessionalism

My first estate agent wasted two months, not selling the house, just getting me to reducing the price. Then I was recommended Chinneck the service was like chalk and cheese Tim advised me on best way to presenting the house better for photos and viewing On the first day of viewing the third couple to view the house make me an offer and I sold my house I wish I had gone with them at the start of this because I could have been moved Into a new house by now.

I have been a tenant with Chinneck Shaw for more than13yrs. They are by far the most welcoming, competent agency around. They are always there and the end of a phone call ready to answer any questions and to help out with any issues with my property. Every one on the lettings side are so helpful and go out there way to help where they can. Unfortunately the property I was renting got auctioned off and I was unable to cover the new rent increase (not chinnecks fault) so had to move. I would defiantly recommend them to anyone who is looking to rent a property from them, it will be the best choice you make. Hopefully I will be back someday, thank you all for a great 13 yrs. Dave

We were dealing with Jamie who gave us updates throughout & kept us informed but we spoke to a few other members of staff in the office too who couldn’t of been more helpful! Jamie, Tim and Toni really went above and beyond to ensure the sale of our house went through as smoothly as possible from start to finish. The team are always quick to communicate with solicitors and ourselves, and nothing is ever too much trouble. Jamie really has shown compassion throughout, and has made this process as stress free as possible. The sale of our house was going through when I was heavily pregnant, and Jamie would first and foremost always ask how I was doing which my husband and I really appreciated, at what could be a very stressful time. I registered with Chinneck Shaw a couple of weeks ago as a first time buyer and thought Jamie was very helpful and listened to what I was looking for. I was shown round a property in Baffins by Will on Saturday and thought he was one of the best agents we'd had on a viewing, he was friendly, professional, very positive about the property he showed us and was one of the only agents that actually gave us a property brochure at the viewing.
