GoogleWe bought our house through John Alexander. The whole process was stressful from start to finish. During the 6 months it took to go through we had no correspondance and were not kept updated. We had to do all the chasing and each time we rang up we spoke to a different member of staff who promised to pass messages on but didn't. When we raised this issue they didn't believe us. We would never use John Alexander again. Be aware.

GoogleLost out on our dream house because the agents didn’t take any of our details when we requested a viewing. Our viewing was cancelled the day before due to a vendor accepting the first offer on a property. I feel if the vendor had known of our position, our viewing could have gone ahead and we would have made an offer.

GoogleWorse letting agents going, my boiler has been condemned for 2nd year on the trot which means it’s been turned off so I have no hot water etc. They know about it but when you call to talk to them no one is in office for the day. How can there be no one to deal with urgent repairs, this is not the 1st time and probably will not be last time.

Google5 Star Rating for Ruby Clark who guided viewings for us today. Not being familiar with the area she was incredibly helpful with information on schools, places of interest, transport, sports and recreation, also Nightlife! We have so much to discover about Colchester and surrounding areas and really appreciate Ruby and all at John Alexander for the help and advice.
