I have moved to a new property managed by Harrt. I have discovered internal damages to the kitchen facilities and the bathroom. I have asked many times for fixing the damages in order to be able to use the kitchen. I have sent pictures and and asked for urgent repairs via phone and emails, but they did not fix anything except the sink. I was not able to use the facilities for more than one month, and I have paid the full rent. Sorry I have to say the truth.

Really impressed with Haart, Chavivi came round to Value our property, we were extremely pleased with his professionalism and industry knowledge. He helped us make more of an informed decision around selling our property and highlighted the benefits of making it into a rental due to the high demand in the area and the potential yield. He even passed us onto the buy to let department who are going to find us some more rentals to purchase. Would recommended to anyone looking to buy, sell or rent out, really friendly, polite and respectful guy.

Chavivi Eaton stands head and shoulders above all estate agents I have interacted with in 20 house viewings. After around 20 viewings of different properties in the last year I became frustrated having to deal with estate agents being totally disinterested in you, the property or even the sale, having to chase up information about properties constantly, not being listened to etc. etc. Chavivi could not have been further from this!!! Before the viewings he was informative about the area and properties, listened to what I was looking for, ensured he worked around my working day too in terms of calls; at the viewings themselves he was utterly professional, if he didn't know the answer to a question he assured me he would chase it up and let me know (which he did!), and generally just gave me the time and space..and advice... to look around and understand what I may have been buying. His work ethic and diligence in accommodating the customer was represented in the fact he came in to do a second viewing on a property even though it was his day off! Would 100% go with Haart and Chavivi again and would recommend to anyone!

First time ever selling a property and couldn't have chosen a more dedicated company to deliver on the promise. Haart made everything easy, I literally signed the dotted line and they took care of everything else. Exactly why you expect to pay the agent fee. All expectations were met, from the quality of the service, the photographs used and an open house thrown in for good measure. A slow start but the agent Mike couldn't have done more, a very dedicated polite and thorough agent providing weekly updates. Would highly recommend haart to sell your property and in particular ask for Mike he got the desired outcome!!

Haart has requested that I write them an honest review of our experience with them, so here I go...initially I thought Haart were really helpful and had our best interests in mind, it became apparent very soon on in the sale process that this was no to be. Lack of communication was the problem, potential buyers turning up to view the property and no agent there to show them round, lack of feedback from viewings and later on in the process the problems we had with regards to a simple boiler issue. Now I know that by law I do not need to provide a gas safety certificate but was persuaded by Harrt that it was in our best interests to pay half towards having to get one done. Overall my experience of Harrt has not been the best experience I have ever had and would certainly not use them again or recommend them to anyone.

I may be a first time buyer - but that doesn't make me worth any less time. After calling Haart regarding there postings for a few properties of potential note, I requested a viewing for 2 properties. During this process that the agent couldn't be bothered to arrange times that were actually appropriate for me. After cancelling other arrangements, I requested for an email confirmation of the viewings and to be kept upto date with anything that happened regarding any of the properties. A few days later and just two days before my viewing I called them up again to ensure that I was actually booked in. Unsurprisingly, I was not, not only that but one of the properties had supposedly sold without my knowledge which I had requested to be made aware of. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and rearranged the viewings again. One for 2:00 and one for 2:30, just a day before I finally received email confirmation for two appointments at 2:15 and 2:30, I can only imagine they were only expecting us to take 5 mins looking at the first property. Upon viewing the property they finally had details on ground rent and service charge, despite me asking for them every time I called (3 times). Where I was told that it was "practically freehold" after a little coercion the agent finally told us the lease period, but had not bothered to look at who actually owned the freehold. Finally and probably worst of all, during the visit to the first property, we finally given information on the second, most importantly that it was Cash-Buyers only and had less than 70 years left on the lease. None of this information was made available when requested, when I mentioned I was a first time buyer or on the advertisment they posted. How anyone has managed to sell a house with them is beyond me, I just hope they don't treat everyone like they do their first time buyers.

Haart Estate Agents have been great and totally and completely extinguished any left over myths about estate agents, by being so friendly, efficient and professional. It seems like when you phone up everyone knows exactly who you are, what you are buying and the state of negotiations. When we asked our negotiator (Bethany) any questions we always received a full answer - if not on the spot, then as soon as possible. I don't aspire to be a real estate mogul...all I want to do is buy a home I love and can afford, for a fair price, with as little hassle as possible. In the course of this search we have had a few experiences that were pretty worrying and frustrating and for us Haart were like a breath of fresh air and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

From my first telephone call with Dale, he has been with me from start to finish with my house purchase. He was prepared to actively look for a property for me, rather than just send me details by email. He contacted the Seller of the property I eventually purchased and arranged a viewing based on my actual affordability, as opposed to sale price. He has been friendly, supportive, kind and on the ball during the whole house purchase transaction and I cannot thank, or recommend him enough. Customers of Haart Colchester be aware. We have just discovered that it is standard procedure for Haart Colchester employees to knowingly park their vehicles on private property not owned by the property for sale when showing prospective buyers around. If that's not bad enough, they also advise their viewers to do the same. Complete lack of respect to other private property owners in the area. Having just had a Haart property viewer literally park directly outside our lounge window (on the agents instruction) on our private property, we quite rightly find this absolutely unacceptable. Obviously the viewer did apologise, its a shame the agent didn't do the same and actually have some respect for other property owners. The Colchester office didn't seem to care less either.

DO NOT USE. This is my second bad experience here. Despite making it clear that it would be impossible to arrive at the viewing time, and agreeing that I would get there as fast as possible, they still did not bother to wait for me. Judging by where I passed their Haart car travelling in the opposite direction and how far I was from the house, they waited less than 10 mins and didn't try to call to see if I was close. ORIGINAL POST: Terrible. Would not recommend to anyone. I've had to constantly call to find out what is going on, emails get ignored. I have only been told the evening before the moving date that there was a problem with the landlords documents, when I had previously been told that everything was complete with no issues. I am now without anywhere to live tomorrow. No concern from staff who seem to just leave things to the last minute and have no interest in what they do.
