I was coming from another country and everything was on tight schedule, especially taking COVID into account, but thanks to Liz from Haart everything went smooth and I was able to self-isolate in my apartment rather than in some hotel. I received precise instructions on what to do before signing tenant's agreement, your account at their company site guides you through the process and everything flows nicely. Christopher Westbrook was my letting agent and this was the most pleasant and smooth move I've ever had. Chris was very cheerful, polite and clear in all dealings we had together. He was very prompt whenever I needed to get hold of him and conveyed information in a clear way. The only small issue I had was that I was told I'd be moving in with professionals, and it'd be two guys and a girl. To be moving during covid, kinda have to rely on the information I'm given. Well there certainly aren't any other women here, and one gentleman is retired, but I think I'm actually happier with this set up than I would've been. My new housemates keep to themselves and are lovely people. SO I give 4 stars, as for many other girls, a house with older men may have been more problematic so something to be aware of. Overall - excellent experience, would recommend both Chris and Haart as a letting agents.

I honestly can’t praise the Colchester Haart team enough, with a special thanks to Carly and Chris who go above and beyond. Carly, Chris, Liz and Carolyn who are the very definition of a happy team. A positive team all strive to provide excellent customer service, they are professional, polite with outstanding communication skills. Collectively they made the entire process transparent and streamlined. This is the 4th property with Haarts Estate agents. To be honest i have always had a great service. On my latest property Christopher ( Chris) is a star. I actually bought the property through a different agent and so had both agents to find a tenant. As soon as i gave haart the key, they found a tenant within a few day's, in simple terms i got the keys on the 11th jan and the tenants moved in by the 22rd jan. It was that quick. Chris always went an extra mile to assist me, one time he helped me take some flooring to the car after the builders left them in the flat, he also helped hoovering the wooden floor as i didn't have a hoover with me, i mean chris and his manager carly Where can u get such services, outside job description. Always at the other end, would always call back if he had min my calls. Thanks Chris for 5* services

The service that I've received whilst organising the rental of the property has been brilliant. Communication has been on the money every time and even when Chris repeatedly had no response from me his professionalism never wavered and although I'm sure it must have tested his patience at times it never came through in his tone on the many voicemails that he had to leave me. My mums second property was a disaster. We had one bad Tenant after another. I walked into Haarts with a view to sell and we ended up putting it on the market. One last go. They took over everything. Christopher is the person who made my first experience a whole lot better, he is one of the main reasons I stayed with haart and my flat. He is very trust worthy and keeps his word. Works very hard to keep his customers happy, very responsive and patient, also made me happy and laugh when things were a little stressful . The agent I met, George was very professional and engaging. He responded to every question asked about the property. He wasn't pushy or unnecessarily persuasive. He asked me about the specs I am looking for in a property. He's honest. He agreed when I identify a fault but equally suggest, how I can improve it. I truly wish some of the agents can emulate his honesty and candid professionalism in Sales. I have never laughed so much. I am very happy to report that I have today had an offer accepted on a most beautiful flat. I am moving from one part of the country to another, so not easy. However I must say that the process was made a lot easier, and even fun, as I was helped by lovely Ben Herbert. He was most efficient and helpful throughout the process. There was an element of negotiation on price, which he (and his colleagues) handled speedily, keeping my informed and arriving at a compromise which suited both me and the vendors. I had done extensive research, but it was Ben who suggested this property, accurately understanding that it was 'my style'. That is not an easy thing to do when you have only communicated briefly with a client. So full marks to Ben (not forgetting Lloyd who attended my second viewing and who was also very professional and reassuring), and indeed to the team at Haart Colchester.

My wife and I spent a year trying to find a house with the service from Haart we found one. Especially the help we received from Benjamin Herbert who was very polite and professional. I have been liaising with Haart on behalf of my mother who is looking for a new home to downsize to. We have been assisted specifically by Benjamin Herbert, who I can honestly say has been the most efficient and professional person that I have ever dealt with regarding house buying. My mother has quite specific requests, and he has listened and understood what she requires from a new home and come up with some great properties. Listening skills are usually highly under estimated, but Ben is excellent at understanding and remembering your needs. I think estate agents are changing to become more sympathetic and focussed with peoples needs, which is a good thing and something Ben has understood.

My experience using Haart was positive throughout. I want to particularly highlight the excellent customer service I experienced while working with Benjamin Herbert one if the Negotiators at Haart. Ben was friendly and helpful at all times. My fiancée and I are first time buyers, we contacted Haart through their website for a viewing on Monday. About half an hour later I received a call from Benjamin Herbert, he was very polite, professional and listened to all our needs. Unfortunately, the property we were interested in had just been sold, but Ben suggested another property that met our needs and was within our price range. He arranged a viewing for us that Monday afternoon and we fell in love with the place, it was better than the property we originally wanted to view. Today is Friday and I am pleased to say we have just had our offer accepted. I have to say that Bens communication (and the whole team at Haart’s Colchester) was spot on throughout. My partner and I met Ben from HAART first time buyers on mulptiple occasions through out our property search. Each time we viewed properties with him he was extremely friendly, always happy to be help and answered any questions we had regardless of how busy he was or what time of the day it was. He is genuine and definitely has your best interests at heart which can not be said for many estate agents who we have delt with prior. My boyfriend and myself are looking into our options for a mortgage (first time) We went to Barclays first and left that meeting feeling very disappointed and our confidence knocked. However, Ben Herbert recommended coming to see Haart's mortgage adviser Daniel Clow to get another opinion. Ben was very friendly, helpful and a great asset to the company. He helped arrange the meeting with Daniel and advised us on what we needed to bring with us and what to expect. Me an my girlfriend are looking to buy our first home and decided to seek advice from haart estate agents. We spoke to Ben Herbert to see what we needed and where to start. He gave us fantastic advice and was incredibly helpful. Ben recommended we speak to haarts morgage adviser Daniel clow. We booked an appointment to see Daniel straight away. He told us everything we need to do in order to get ourselves on the ladder. We'd already spoken to Barclays morgage adviser previous to this meeting so we had an idea of what to expect but were blown away with the amount Daniel said we could borrow. Barclays hadnt got anywhere near the amount Daniel did. All in all having delt with multiple estate agents in the past with renting ect haart colchester have the best estate agent and morgage adviser we've ever spoken too. As soon as a house came on in our criteria Rebecca called is straight away 10 minutes before she was due to finish shift and booked us in for a viewing the following morning, we attended the property to view and we automatically knew it was the one for us!! made an offer and got accepted... Recently purchased my home through Haart Colchester. I was initially shown around by Kristian and he made a great impact. He was very helpful and would always get back to me on updates. He never rushed a viewing and make me feel really relaxed. Once my offer was accepted I was initially confused as to who was dealing with my purchase but eventually I was given Mark to deal with at the Head Street Branch. He has been super. He has kept the sale moving and has always been there. In the past few months he has become a friend as I would speak to him most weeks and he would provide me regular updates. Nothing was a problem for him and and if I were to go through the process again I would happily recommend Mark and want him to deal with my purchase. Selling though Haart at Colchester was made a very stress free by there team not once did we have to chase them they gave us regular updates of all that was happening communicating with solicitors saved us a lot of time and trouble. Right from our first meeting with Marcus who attended with our buyers and escorted them through the viewing,we found them professional and helpful. Daniel the branch manager was never too busy to help and communication was great. Photographs were not taken by sales staff but by a professional photographer and did this make a difference superb. I popped into Colchester on Saturday to scout round the agents to enquire about a second property, which I eventually plan to let out. Most of the agents I didn't bother going into, as you could clearly see from the street that they were on their mobiles and looking bored, some even gossiping to each other in clear view of potential clients. When I approached haart in Colchester, the staff looked busy (on landline phones, dealing with clients in the office) so I went it. I had a fantastic service from Leslie the new area partner, his colleague Jason and the mortgage chap. Firstly, they were experienced and knowledgeable. Not only did they register me, they QUALIFIED me as an applicant AND a potential landlord (most agents ignored this part, pretty vital if you ask me). Also, I was very impressed there were senior staff in on a Saturday AND a mortgage person. They managed to get me a face-to-face mortgage appointment within an hour and a half of walking through the door. Other agents could only offer a 'call back' from a remote mortgage advisor. In every aspect haart were ahead of the game. I would definitely do business with Leslie and his team and would recommend them to others. In a saturated market of estate agents, their 'back to basics' put-the-customer-first approach shone above and beyond any other agent in town. Five star.

Carol was very friendly and very good at pointing out all the positives of the house as was Ben. Lloyd was also very polite, courteous and helpful and sucessful in securing an offer on my house.
