Dear Jordan, We are disappointed to see your review, especially given your positive comments regarding Carolann’s assistance and her efforts to progress the transaction. Please note, it is standard practice to relist a property when a sale falls through and it is part of our obligation to the seller to promptly remarket the property for other potential buyers. While a property may not meet one buyer's expectations, it could be perfectly suited to another. In this case, the property was priced based on its current condition, with the need for work or improvement clearly stated in the advert. While we provide transparency about material information that may influence a buyer's decision, estate agents do not typically offer detailed lists of necessary works, as that requires professional assessment and is beyond our remit. We always encourage buyers to conduct their own inspections and seek professional advice where necessary. We understand Carolann was able to offer recommendations on this. In many instances, following surveys or inspections, we can explore renegotiation if repairs or further works are needed, provided the property still meets the buyer’s circumstances. If that is not the case, the property will be relisted, and any new information that arises after a sale falls through will be shared with prospective buyers. We understand how disappointing it can be when a sale falls through; however, we take accusations seriously.
