I was very impressed with the sensitive way in which the sales team from Grisdales (particularly Judith and Carolann) dealt with the sale of mum's bungalow. They arranged effective marketing and agreed a good price. Queries were dealt with quickly and were we kept informed at all stages of the process. I was also pleased with the recommendation of Bendles solicitors, since they also handled the sale with sensitivity and efficiency. I would certainly recommend Grisdales (Cockermouth) to others.

We have recently purchased a property with Grisdales. I would like to say how amazing they were during the whole process. Especially Scott Freeman-Wooding. Scott was incredible from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble, even accommodating extra visits so we could take our autistic son. Thank you to the Cockermouth team on the sale of our property, subject to contract. I would like to mention the two people who we had contact with, namely Carolann and Judith. Amazing images taken of property very friendly and professional lady. Gentleman conducting veiwings was late for most of them. Notifications for vewings booked for wrong property. Offer accepted communicated well, then after that the communication was very very poor, absolutly no updates given at anytime, i was calling in to update my contact, 2 days called message left no contact from anyone, my purchase esate agaent was ringing me with updates on the sale of my property, which is not what i antisipated when Grisedales were reccomended, exchanged again no cotact made apart from email with details on the service you, i imagine you offer everyone with help with changing address details which i did not take any further as was sent 2 days after exchange and i had already started the process, day of completion no call to say completed, just a call about 3 hours later to ask what i was doing with keys. All in all a very poor service in my opinion and i would not use or reccomend.

Start to finish Grisdales have been exceptional. They came to our home and valued it as i would of expected it to of been worth. All though they didn't market my property as I had 3 offers privately and excepted one, I would of marketed it with Grisdales if that had not been the case. Moving on from that the house i found and wanted to buy was marketed by Grisdales and from the start there attention to detail was impeccable. My offer was accepted, I had excellent communication from the office namely a lady called Carol-Anne, very friendly, professional and personable which i find rare these days. I have now viewed the property 3 times with various family members and its never an issue. There service is outstanding and there a credit not only to the company/brand but also themselves. Debs showed us round a property in early May. During the initial phone-call to arrange the visit, she showed exceptional flexibility in arranging a time and date that would work for us. During the visit itself, we valued in particular her advice on next steps for an older property as we were very inexperienced in this area. We decided not to make an offer for this property as it wasn't best suited to us but we were confident that had we wanted to proceed, Debs would have helped us every step of the way. The team could not have been better with us especially when we had a bit of hold up from solicitors they helped us chase that as timescales from solicitors were a little longer than expected. I have recently had to move at short notice, the Whitehaven Grisdales team as always were super efficient, helpful and caring, All the Whitehaven team are great but Daria and Beckie who helped me find a lovely new place to rent are worthy of special mention as they guided me to the property most suitable for my needs. Nothing was too much trouble for them and they were always there to answer my many property questions and queries. Daria went out of her way to print off pages and documents of various properties for me; even though she was obviously very busy. The main thing is that I feel like a valued tenant with Grisdales, this is not always the case with some other letting agents. Thank you WH team.
