I am delighted to write this review about my experience of letting through Martin & Co i Coalville. Georgina and Ashleigh were the finest examples of excellent customer service (Having taught it previously), they were always polite and used excellent communication skills either by phone or email and it was always a pleasure to visit them in person in the office. They ensured a quick and speedy rental of the property i selected and fully answered any questions i had or confirmed answers through the landlord. I have been in the property over six months and they dealt with great speed and professionalism over a heating problem i reported. Inspections were quick and easy and ensuring that I was happy with the property. Thank you Georgina and Ashley for your excellent professional service and recommend anyone looking to rent a property to call in and discuss your renting requirements in the Coalville office.

As with all rentals it’s had it’s share of issues that have needed dealing with and I’ve called upon them to assist. No issues and a friendly branch to deal with, rent reviews dealt with and everything kept up to date. Recently I have sold a rented property with them which they marketed around Christmas 2019. The brochure created and the speed they marketed and got viewings was spot on. Again calling on Martin & Co to deal with the stress of selling a property and to supply paperwork etc to solicitors has been dealt with without me having to get a headache finding documents. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them, Chris got on with the job and got the sale done and always returned my calls, can’t ask for anymore! All the staff at the branch have been very helpful. Hope people share this experience and you do well with your Coalville branch!

I have just brought a house through this company, primarily Ashleigh dealt with it and they have been absolutely awesome. Great communication throughout the whole process and a nice, simple purchase. Matt from Martin & co. (Coalville) was the second of three estate agents I invited to view, estimate and potentially sell our house. Of the three, he appeared to be most down to earth and genuine in his estimations and advice on how to proceed with the sale. Rather than asking for the usual fee of 1.5 or 2% of the sale, Matt knew our property would sell quickly and offered us a realistic sale fee lower than we had expected. Our property sold within 2 weeks and Matt's handling of the whole process was extremely efficient, friendly and unobtrusive, always keeping us up to date when necessary. I would fully recommend Matt from Martin and co. as his approach and advice on our sale was straight forward, friendly and genuine without the usual sales patter we experienced from other estate agents.

If you are planning to be a tenant with this company please make sure when you leave you do a written notice, me and my girlfriend rang to say we was leaving got told everything was put through and then a day before moving out was told we had to pay another months rent and bills. Very unprofessional company as the staff have treated us like we are intentionally not paying bills even though they should have said when we rang, and now we have lost over 800 pound in deposit. Also problems always took ages to get sorted to the point other neighbors complained and they had to contact them themselves.

Very poor, I needed a property to rent found one with them, rang to book a viewing they told me they would ring me back in the next week they never did, came to the week after they said the same, every person I spoke to took my name and number not one saved it, come to a point when I rang and the property was already gone without letting me know. they wasted my time. Plus they never followed up to see if they could help me find any other property's that they have going or coming up. Very disappointed

Very poor' full management' verging on fraudulent, constantly in breach of every key aspect of the contract. They do not properly credit check your tenants, they lie about their references and credit checks, they collect the rent late most of the time, they fail to get guarantors when required, they do not inspect the property resulting in potentially serious damage going unnoticed etc etc You will end up managing the property yourself and chasing the rent every month.

Letting agent seemed very inexperienced and unknowledgeable. We were advised an application would be emailed immediately after viewing the property but this wasn't sent. We rang them three times asking for the application along with chasing it up via email. Being sent a form shouldn't be this difficult. Makes one think they're trying to gate-keep the property so only the tenants that they'd like to see obtain the property are able to make an application.
