Terrible service

Terrible service! They tried to rent a flat to my Son that they had misadvertised.They wouldn't allow him to view the flat because of Covid even though the flat was empty. The property was supposed to have had a new kitchen fitted, it clearly hadn't, the worktops around the sink were rotten, the cooker and surrounding surfaces were covered in grease, the whole property hadn't been cleaned! Something I'm sure should have been done because of Covid. There were more serious issues which really made the property uninhabitable. My Son contacted CJ hole and there reply was "well it's got nothing to do with us". We contacted the Buildings ombudsman and then contacted CJ hole again, informing them of our actions!. They were a bit more helpful after that!. It took over a month for my Son to get his money back. It is shocking that a large company like CJ Hole will try and rent someone a property in such a poor and potentially dangerous condition!. Shame on them!

His friendly demeanor and professionalism set him apart from the other estate agents that we had met. We first approached CJ Hole Clifton in Dec 2019 and sold our property just before the pandemic. Unfortunately the deal fell through due to lockdown. We had a few difficult months following that but managed to sell at the end of summer 2020. Despite a very long road to exchange and completion, Marcus and Luke (and the wider team) have been excellent at representing us, chasing the relevant parties and have communicated frequently and transparently. They have strong local knowledge and an impressive insight into the market and wider situation throughout Covid. Recommended to and used by our neighbours as a result. Ellie helped to arrange viewing of the property and was really understanding when we brought up some DIY fixes within the proerty. Finding a new place could be quite a stressful process, but both of them handled everything very professionally and most of all spared time to listen to my individual needs, which I find quite rare in our busy everyday life. The service we have received from Rafal Lunitz is five stars. Since he took over as our property manager, things have run very smoothly. When he started, he tied up all the loose ends his predecessors started and had fallen to the wayside. Rafal’s customer service skills are exceptional. He is always helpful, responsive and keeps everyone updated. We don’t need to chase up on jobs because he is very much on top of it and follows through. He is knowledgeable and impartial in the advice he gives and is very personable. I have just endured a rather protracted flat sale and I can honestly say that without C J Hole, I might have gone quite mad. They have been consistently friendly, funny, wise and efficient. Every call answered promptly, every e-mail responded to and lots of energy expended chasing solicitors, builders and surveyors on my behalf. I drank them dry of coffee, had a couple of shouting fits when I needed them and dropped in whenever I needed to get a sensible opinion. They also helped me communicate with my buyers, exchanging useful information without always going via the solicitors. Right from the outset, they got me 22 viewings in 3 days and an excellent sale price. Where they really earned their keep though was the constant support and encouragement to shepherd me through the quagmire of what followed. It made a huge difference to feel that you weren't on your own just because the sale had been agreed. I would use them again without hesitation. I'm in no rush to ever sell again, but I will miss the free coffee......
