GoogleAs a new landlord and new to the Bristol area, I found the Lettings Team very helpful in offering guidance, advice and putting me in touch with contractors in the area to help get the property ready to Let. To my surprise, they managed to let my property within 48 hours of owning it which was fantastic as I was expecting it to be empty for a few weeks. They were very clear about requests from the tenant before they moved in and gave me enough time to sort them out. Many thanks

GoogleConsistently high quality, from Christopher Carstairs in particular, providing a value for money and stress free service. We have been using Andrews' full management service, on our family home in Bristol, for almost 2 years while taking the opportunity to work in Australia. Being so far away and never having let before, it was very important that we selected an agent in whom we could trust. Interviewing half a dozen, Andrews seemed to fit the bill. We did have some initial teething problems that appeared related to staff turnover just at the point we were leaving the country. However since Christopher Carstairs took over management, a few weeks in, we have been consistently delighted with the level of professionalism, knowledge, advice, calmness and courtesy. Nothing seems phase him. Being an older property there have been a number of maintenance issues, including one potentially serious structural issue. All have been dealt with effectively using Christopher's network of maintenance and building contractors. I was able to speak with the contractor for the major work and it was clear that he was experienced and able to supply a cost effective solution rather than, the more expensive, automatically replacing like with like. We will certainly continue to use Christopher's service as long as it continues at this level.

GoogleFrom the landlord's perspective, I have been very pleased with the service Andrews have provided. I have used them for about 7 years. They are quick and efficient in marketing, and in selecting and arranging tenancies. They manage the tenancy well, requiring very little involvement from my side. When repairs and replacements are necessary, Andrews arranges them professionally and efficiently, yet they are careful about keeping costs under control. Andrews also provide timely and transparent information on costs incurred. Andrews are also are responsive to requests and instructions from my side. In all my dealings with Andrews, their staff have unfailingly been helpful, efficient and cheerful.

GoogleIncredible persistence and dedication to profiteering, deception, and obfuscation. Staff member I worked with was generally rude and unhelpful, if not actively obstructive. On balance, while drawing up contracts and fixing the one thing that went wrong while I was in the property, they were pretty organised, but administrative and legal prowess is a double edged sword; really felt the other side of it when exposed to the contractual loopholes and pitfalls, and fundamentally unscrupulous values of this agency. I understand letting agents don't generally tend to have the greatest reputation for customer care, but, these guys, from my experience, were particularly bad.

GoogleFREE USED TAMPONS! Right now that I have your attention the review (and an explanation of the caption) After signing the contract and picking up the keys from the office and paying all fees requested I drove to the new flat. None of the work that was outlined in the offer pack had been done and the house had not been cleaned. when I rang them they explained that none of the work had been done as there was a problem with damp in the property, sort of thing they might have mentioned that morning when I was in the office. They simply took my money and said nothing! The house was covered in dust and had obviously not been cleaned there were even used tampons in the bins inside the property. A cleaner was eventually sent. it took three weeks to sort the rest of the issues on the offer pack out and I am still having issues to this day (three months later). Compensation for the time the flat was not ready was declined so I ended up paying full rent for a filthy building site. The customer service and communication is terrible! They promise call backs when they are busy that never come. They have lied on many occasions including telling me an issue cant be dealt with because a member of staff is out of the office for a few days on annual leave just to have that same member of staff call me about a different issue a few hours later. The list goes on but I haven't got all night. Very disappointed and feel no effort has been made to value a paying customer. To sum up liars and cheats that cant be trusted who just don't know the meaning of the words customer service.

GoogleAbsolutely shocking service from move in to move out. Terrible internal communications leading to unnecessary demand letters being sent when arrangement already agreed with college. Also still waiting for a 6 week deposit of around £1200 and we moved out 7 weeks ago. Haven't been called back for 11 days in arow and efevery time I call in I get told the right person isnt in. No responce to several emails current wait time is 2 weeks

GoogleWorst letting agents i have ever delt with. Will never deal with them again! Communication is non existant. Don't expect anything to be easy when you rent with these jokers as they will make you jump through hoops so they don't have to do any work. They also don't have the facilities to transfer your deposit back into your account. If you are dealing with Nasreen Dad, do yourself a favour and walk away immediately.

GoogleAwful customer service, absent tenant support when needed and extremely late deposit (2 months after i have left the property i have still not seen my deposit back despite promise it would be returned) I have now moved to a property managed by a seperate Andrews branch that seem to be much better. Just avoid the Whiteladies branch at all costs. You will regret ever let them take your money. 1/10 would not recommend.

GoogleThe service provided by Andrews was good to start with however there were several branch management changes during the time our property was listed which we were only informed of when chasing for updates. This created an inconsistent and at times bad service. That said one agent picked up our property after a while and took ownership of getting it sold and did a great job.
