POOR ESTATE AGENT

We used Reeds Rains selby north yorkshire to sell our bungalow , things were ok ( allthough we had to do all the chasing up on viewings and despite telling the manager not happy with the service or the lack of it nothing changed ) upto selling but once we had a buyer the manager lost all interest , no updates with how things were progressing and not even a thank you once they got paid quite a large sum of money . definitely will never use them again .

Rude, degrading staff. Not helpful at all very judgmental and cocky. Would never ever like to sell my house or buy a house from them. Andrew was fabulous everyone else just total discussing rude behaviour, no empathy and just rude.

Absolute rubbish. Do not use Reeds Reins Ossett

Absolute rubbish. I don’t recommend. I’m in the process of selling. It’s been a total frustration & I feel very badly let down by the staff at Reeds Reins Ossett. I have no idea what they are doing for their commission as it’s always me that’s chasing & trying to get things moving, I’m always getting the answer machine & I very rarely get calls back. It would be a very big review if I went into the nitty gritty of the problems due to their lack of effort. Communication is RUBBISH, the worst of any company I have ever dealt with. They didn’t keep on top of our first sale & we lost alot of time because of them. The second sale is on with & again they haven’t done anything. We’re 3 months into a sale that was supposed to take a month & it’s because they don’t chase things up or communicate with you. I complained by email to the manager laying out their negligence with the first sale. One of the members of staff agreed with my comments on the phone but the manager never responded. I rang twice for a response to my email…nothing. I’ve screenshot all the calls & you can see from my call log that they don’t get back to you. I emailed asking for a response to my complaint & it wasn’t barely a response just a couple of lines of nothing. I’m so so frustrated & fed up of doing all the leg work myself. Very disappointed. I was about to pull out of the sale & move somewhere else as I’d had enough & then they finally did something, however since then I’ve had nothing & yet again I’ve had to chase.

Sold my house with reeds rains i’ve had a bad experience with Reeds Rains in the past so was sceptical about using them again until I met Mel, the manager very professional and warm person when my sale fell through she personally took charge and got us back on track with another buyer we lost no time and soon had a sale

Terrible service

the service at Reed rain Durham, Darlington and Leeds is an absolute sxxtshow. there's no communication and the landlord isn't kept in the loop with anything. all the staff dealing with our property are totally incompetent and useless. they pass you on to other staff as they aren't capable of sorting out the job. Happy to take your money but provide no service. go to another estate agent 🙂

Very cumbersome process

This was cumbersome and unnecessary made a very difficult process. I was a guarantor. Then I needed a reference from my employer. I have to submit taxes. Totally crazy. I have no idea how this people can even rent one house. If I wasn’t doing it for my loved one I would totally go somewhere else. They need to tone it down. Pure nonsense. Scary stuff

Advised terribly, advise was made for the benefit of Reeds Rains and not myself.Communication lacking.Pulled out at a cost to me.I can only tell you my experience and that is they don't care about the customer.The person advising me thought because i had to pay a fee to pull out, i would be reluctant to do it. There is no chance I would let them sell my house after all this. And on that, i have spoken to someone else who said they were trying to sell a house for nearly a year without success using Reed Rains, they went elsewhere and it sold after a week.You live and learn...

Absolutely furious with the lack of customer service. I was sold an auction property by Lisa Sharpe - told there was a tenant in there for the next year, and that rental would be taken care of. She lied, tenant was moving that week. I bought in June - still not completed due to buyers solicitor not sending accurate information and ignoring my solicitors emails

From the moment I contacted Reeds Rains Chorley about a property I wanted to rent, they couldn't have been any more helpful and accommodating. I found myself in an unexpected tricky living situation which required a very quick move and without Sonia, Brooke and Sam, it just wouldn't have happened so seemlessly. Sonia was so professional and friendly when I went to view. Thanks for making me feel so welcome, Sonia. As a first time buyer, to be told the wrong completion date from Zoe was annoying.The day before I phoned to say I doubt that’s happening as our solicitors haven’t said it will be.They still told us we will be moving in.This is because Reeds Rains Solicitors sent out the paperwork too soon to the sellers and dragged it out for 3 weeks sending us our paperwork that we needed.

So incredibly grateful that we have Alison Whiteside on our team. Still have received my deposit after 3…

Still have received my deposit after 3 months of vacating one of reed Rains properties. I have gone through mydeposits Dispute and the agency was ordered them to pay back the deposit a few weeks ago, but no payments have been made. I have made complaint to the property Ombudsman and the national trading standards estates and letting agency team, in preparation to take it to court.
