Excellent Service

Renting a property can be daunting but Reeds Rains helped us every step of the way, nothing too much trouble. The Burnley team were excellent and so efficient. Particular thanks to Leanne and Andrea. We signed up one day and had four viewings in four days with one signing up as a tenant. Amazing! With their help we are now legal and have a happy tenant, with no worries, because Reed Rains take care of problems under their fully managed package. Many thanks guys!!

I have recently completed a power of attorney sale of my mother’s house with the Pontefract Team of Reads Rains. The whole process with the Agent was easy and straightforward, I was updated with all viewing appointments and provided with feedback after every viewing. The property sold very quickly and when I was unhappy with the lack of updates and information from my solicitor; the Team, in particular Ash, chased up my solicitor, the buyer’s solicitor and the buyer, providing me with regular updates alleviating my concerns.

Reeds Raines Rye - Lettings Manager

What a great team - over the last few years ( 3 at least ) I’ve used Reeds Raine for my rental properties and the sale of my home. The team works really well together, giving a seamless joint between “Lettings” and “Sales”. Lydia has been a constant, contactable touch point - her assured and local knowledge is a real benefit, providing insights and contacts that have made the “landlord” role easy and hassle free. Lydia has personally formed an invaluable bridge to the Sales team. It was Lydia’s high levels of customer service that formed my decision to use the Rye Reeds Raines Team to sell my house. Stuart pulled out “all of the stops” to get the sale of my property across the line to my set deadlines - leaving me free to focus on the purchase of my new home. Reeds Rain York branch avoid at…

Reeds Rain York branch avoid at all costs whether a landlord or tenant. Terrible customer service, lied to on multiple occasions, they will attempt to milk fees from commissions on maintenance work the tenant hasn't requested. They are now refusing to return the tenants deposit where there is a dispute between Reeds Rain and the landlord (I.e nothing to do with the tenant). Tenants beware....!

Stress free move

What can be one of the most stressful events in life, selling a house and moving home was made much easier with the help of the staff at Reeds Rains (Bamber Bridge)Their expertise and advice was invaluable, from getting the house valued and on the market, to organising viewings and working with the solicitors and buyers as the sale progressed. We had a sale agreed within 3 days of our house hitting the market.All the staff are so professional and friendly and were there to answer any queries and support us throughout the process. I can't thank Rebecca enough for keeping everything under control, which really made this move stress free for myself and my family.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Reeds Rains to family and friends.

Reeds rains is the worst estate agency…

Reeds rains is the worst estate agency I have come across. I had a viewing on one of their property to rent in Eccles new road and I have send our interest on that property and they said they will let me know about landlord’s decision. I made 2 phone calls in one week period after seeing no response from the agency. They were very rude over the phone and were not approachable at all. They asked me to wait for their email to get the update. Even after more than a week, my husband rang them today on 26th September 2023 to get an update, they said the property has been given to other people. They made us to wait for their update more than a week , very rude over the phone and not given any update. I won’t recommend this agency to any of my friends.

I've had dealings with Reeds Rains in Rothwell for over 12 years, the level of service from Greg and his team is outstanding. I can honestly say I've never dealt with an estate agency quite like this one. They are all willing to go above and beyond for the customer.To this end I have to specifically mention Maria Hammill. Maria recently helped me sell my house, there was nothing that was to much trouble for Maria, her customer service was exceptional, she passed all levels of expectation. St Helens branch - very clearly they appear to be writing their own reviews. I have dealt with 5 x different estate agents so far and without doubt these were the worst by some margin and when I use the word worst I am aware of it’s implications. Unprofessional, poorly trained and rude staff - had an absolute nightmare experience buying a property through them. My advice would be to use someone else or/and look at all the negative reviews to gain some idea of their level of professionalism. Impossible to give a minus score but I would have if it had been possible. Amateurs!!

Would highly recommend!

I sold my house with Reeds Rains Pemberton and used their suggested solicitors (Stephenson's). We were so pleased with their customer service, professionalism and efficiency over our selling process. There were some bumps in the road and complications that arose (never from our side) but they were handled extremely well by all, especially Emma. We are now happy in our new home, all thanks to the support that we received throughout from Reeds Rains - they really did go above and beyond!

No respect for tenants, choose anywhere else

Spoken to like a second class citizen any time I needed anything, our contract said we would be contacted 2 months before the tenancy ended to see if we wanted to renew. When I chased this up after it didn't happen, I was told that I had to speak directly to my landlord. We then got a section 21 from reeds rains, but whenever we tried to contact them for help we were told again 'speak to your landlord'. They also copy and pasted my emails to them (Reeds Rains) and sent them to our landlord without our permission.They might not care about us now that we're 'just tenants', but when we are buying next year they will care when we go absolutely nowhere near them.ETA they now have our old property listed for rent with blatant lies on the advert, one being that there is OFF ROAD PARKING (there is not anything of the sort). Don't trust them!

He always gets back to my emails promptly. If I have any questions or issues to the sellers he will pick it up very quick and get back to me pretty quick . As the sellers are not residing in the UK anymore he had to sort out few issues after my survey . He has been very professional, responsive and understanding . Couldn't ask for a better service. I am writing this review to express my gratitude to Reeds Rains St Helens following Steph visiting my home yesterday to complete a valuation on my property. What an asset she is to this branch. I have used Reeds Rains in the past to purchase my current property and couldn’t of asked for a better service at the time, however yesterday, Steph went out of her way to provide me with support and ensured that I had everything I needed. She was super patient and I cannot thank her enough for everything. Steph contacted me beforehand to confirm the visit which again was reassuring having been let down by other local companies. She went out of her way to ensure that both my children felt included and allowed my daughter to ask any questions during this time. Please pass on my thanks to her and I will continue to promote this wonderful estate agents to friends and family moving forwards.

Poor experience

Absolutely useless service. No surprise that people could not sell with this agents. Wanted a viewing but after multiple calls over a week, manged to get an appointment. When actually got there, the tenants were not informed of the booked visit. Promised a call back to rearrange the appt, but nothing. No responses even after leaving so many messages with the team. Very poor and unprofessional service. I wouldn't use them to buy, sell or manage my lets after this experience. What a disappointing experience 😪.

Chaos, inexperience, under qualified

Staff do not have a clue what they are doing by the looks of it, received so many documents littered with so many errors from all kinds of departments that do not communicate with one another. They dodge questions and facts like politicians or criminals, too scared to tell the landlord when he is wrong and unlawful or breach of their own terms of a tenancy agreement. Negligent or maybe even considered fraudulent tampering of notices to make their documents appear valid. Even down to simple maths (KS1 addition that my 6 year old could complete) they do not seem to be able to grasp. Denial demonstrated on all things that they are incorrect about, which I’m clever enough to have all in emails/writing. I’m embarrassing to have this agent operating, I’m not saying I know everything but I’ve had to correct and school them on a lot of aspects of our tenancy, so much so that I’m tempted to send them an invoice for my time! Avoid this agent at all costs, they side with landlords even if they are in the wrong and simply do as they are told by their clients, this isn’t always the right or ethical thing to do and certainly In need of some training/business transformation or redundancies. Avoid!

Many thanks to the Pemberton branch of the Reeds Rains team, especially Jemma, Nicky, Emma and Alan (the sales person who dealt with the viewings on our property). Their professionalism, knowledge and help shone through from our first meetings. From five viewings of the house four offers were made on the same day and this resulted with an offer being accepted within one day! Whenever making a telephone call to their office you can always guarantee a friendly and helpful reception.
